M. Night is not Happening. Watch extended Clip. NOW with an extra drop of Red Band!
Wow. An extended clip for this movie was recently released on yahoo. M. Night gives a little introduction trying to hype us up for the film and talk us into how scary and amazing its going to be. Then he shows a clip that he “hopes won’t scare us to much”. I wasn’t sure about this movie from the beginning. Now I know for a fact this movie is going to be terrible. This is the worst acting I have seen so far from Mark Walberg! Watch the clip and you’ll see what I’m talking about. I love how the railroad employees loose contact with EVERYONE. They obviously don’t see all the people walking around them and the guy they are talking to.
M. Night Shyamalan has officially lost it. If you want to Read a early review for the film CLICK HERE.
It’s not a good review.
Also I want to point something out. You’ll notice he is wearing this big blue ring that sticks out like a sore thumb. I can’t help but think it is a family heirloom passed down through his family and that the ring holds the key to saving the world. Its just an observation. But its something M. Night might do.

That ring is not subtle at all. It’s the Blue Lantern?
Holy crap! Is that one of the awesome Deschanel sisters behind him?
Don’t think I won’t be responding to this slanted, one-sided post. You cannot make a judgement about the acting based on the clip shown. Perhaps Mark Wahlberg is playing a character who is not internally strong, a man who is caught up in the what-the-heck-is-happening-the-world-may-be-coming-to-an-end moment, and he is simply stunned so everything is coming out choppy and mechanical. I am not saying that is the case, but let’s wait and see the movie.
You have been knocking “Night” for years. I think you need to ask yourself if you are capable of keeping an open mind about him and his films.
Plus, I do think there was some “tongue in cheek” with Shyamalan comment of “I hope it doesn’t scare you too much.” It seems clear from the tone of the introduction he was just kidding around.
I will be happy to write a review for the film when it comes out.
Ok look. I loved ‘The Sixth Sense’ I liked ‘Unbreakable’ and I wish he would have done a trilogy for that. ‘The Lady in Water’ was a decent movie. Because he started to kind of break away from his “my films have to have a twist” mold. Hated ‘Signs’and ‘The Village’. This movie ‘The Happening’ looks similar to a movie called ‘The Signal’. If this movie is good I’ll admit it. I’m just going of what I have seen of it so far.
Im beating a dead horse here, but i dont like m. night…at all(except signs). Sixth sense was original, but boring. Unbreakzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. The village, i guessed the ending by watching the trailer. This one looked ok and ill tell you why. A MAN WAS RUN OVER BY A MASSIVE LAWNMOWER!!!!!!! Who doesnt want to watch that? Ill tell you, no one.
