Venkman Here – I am not sure what M. Night is trying to prove with this statement that comes from an article at Comingsoon.net, about directing ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ personally I think its pretty ridiculous. Maybe he’s just trying to be humble. Its about the challenges of keeping Avatar kid friendly. He say’s:

“It will be tough to keep it PG from PG-13,” he said about doing a PG family film. “It will be tricky. I don’t know how to make a PG movie so that’s going to be much harder, because with R, everything was no problem.”

He doesn’t know how to make a PG movie? Look if ‘Lord of the Rings’ can get away with a PG-13 rating and ‘Narnia’ can get a PG rating, I don’t think there will be a problem buddy. Its based on a cartoon for kids! Just follow that formula, you’ll be fine.
