Venkman here – Another comic book has been snatched up by a production company called Benderspink. The comic book is ‘ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction’. The screen writer from Underworld Kevin Frevioux wrote the comic book and it sounds like it could be a pretty damn cool movie! I’m not familiar with the comic book yet but I like the story summary.

“ZMD is the story of a new government weapons program that drops zombies, designed to be photosensitive and dissolve by a set time, into war zones at night to destroy the enemy population. But after one fails to self-destruct in the Middle East, a team of elite soldiers must enter hostile territory to stop a growing zombie army.”

Ah hell! The government should have known that was going to backfire! I love the concept of how it all gets started, but once you get a growing army of zombies and a team of elite soldiers sent in to stop them it turns into just another zombie flick, I hope they end up trying out some new things though. This could be a very fun zombie movie though. I’m looking forward to it.
