Boyle Says 28 Months Later Could Happen

28 Weeks Later

When 28 Days Later came out people stood back and said this is a concept of horror movie that has been done to many times. By that I mean Zombies + infection = carnage but they were all wrong but how awesome and creepy the movie actually was. Then there was the sequel 28 Weeks Later which wasn’t as big as the first one, but was still appreciated by the movie fans, but what about 28 Months Later? Could that possibly get past the script stage?

“There’s a bit of discussion going on about it at the moment,” Boyle tells MTV of what I’m going to start calling “28 Months Later,” the third in a series which began with “28 Days Later” in 2002 and continued with “28 Weeks Later” last year.

“I have an idea for it [but] I’ve got to present it and see what people think really because it might be silly really,” he laughed.

On the matter of whether or not he would direct the film, though, the “Slumdog Millionaire” helmer was much less coy, admitting that “it was a possibility.”

I would love the fact if this movie happened because the end of the second one sort of opened up for a trilogy…or quadrology?

I hope that if they do it that they make it as good as the first one. I didn’t like the characters of the second movie, they were not very smart.

I have written a script for a 28 months later. Does any1 know how i can get ahold of Boyles to show it to him. I think the fans would love it and it would draw a bigger audience the first 2 did not have
