I was just looking at the trailer again. I remember seeing this in theaters and thinking it looked a little too Mission Impossible. I mean there's no actual characteristics to the individual characters. In an attempt to make them look even more badass they've given them fucking cybernetic suits or some bullshit. Absolute shit. And I'm sorry but the song they chose in the trailer also sounds like shit, American badass or something. How very very sad.

When I saw the trailer in theaters, I remember thinking it looked promising. I was like, "Wow! I wonder what the name of it is." Then I saw G.I. Joe slapped on the tail end of the trailer. I mean, they might as well have called it SpongeBob Square Pants. It is no way reminds me or resembles GI Joe. Why do we get crap like this when there no one has even started working on a Halo movie? Oh wait… I think they just hired Stephen Sommers to direct it. I'm guessing it will be an animated movie about a zebra love triangle and they'll just stick the Halo name to it. Hurray!

im only 14 and iv watched gi joe sigma 6 3 times. i was exited when i hard there was a gi joe movie coming out until i saw who were playing as joe. no afence but gi joe was a blond not a brunet, and how you destroyed all the caractores by picking peaple that dont even look like the real deal. But iv got to admit Baronitus looks almost 100 persent origanal and i hope she has the russin acsent

stephen somers … wow i mean this really sucks … I am not a member here but guys i agree with you 110% i just hate that this has happened … the commander looks like crap … and he was my favorite … without the iconic silver mask and helmet or hood they can forget my 8 bucks!

If this movie is bad as it starting to look then i will go to the extreme to open a class action lawsuit!!!! g.i joe was and still is a huge apart of me..hell im 26 and still buy the toys and even set them up as if im playing with them…As i joe fan i will walk out in the middle of the show if this suck!! I’m with you 100%. I’m not at all confident that this movie will be representative of the GIJoe I grew up with in the 80’s. With Sommers as the director the camp of bright colored vehicles and costumes would have been fine. Hell they could have even brought back Sgt. Slaughter! But no, everyone has to wear black and be indistinguishable from the next guy. And to ‘reinvent’ Cobra Commander?? WTF!? The only possible redeeming features are the Stormshadow/SnakeEyes characters, but even they cannot save the entire movie. They would have been better off doing a movie with just those two…maybe.
