Shoshanna Dreyfus is the lead female character in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards. The movie pretty much revolves around her so this is a huge role to cast. Dark horizons reports that French actress Melanie Laurent has been cast as Tarantino’s Shoshanna a french Jewish girl who is in hiding from the Nazi’s and at the same time run a movie theater.

A source close to Laurent indicates the actress has already flown to Los Angeles to work with Tarantino.

Laurent is a French actress so unless you are familiar with French Cinema you wouldn’t really know who she is. It think she fits the role perfectly. I am sure we will get official word on this soon.
