But X-men characters dont really have a storyline specifically for themselves the only on that actualll has a story for himself is Wolverine... the avengers on the other hand had stories of there own and they were brought together, not created together like the X-men were. The same kinda goes with the justice league characters.

Personally, I find Christian Bale's portrayal of Bats a tad bit overrated. And the way he enunciates when he's in costume is kinda cloying. Secondly, Brandon Routh was a snooze in the red cape. Clark Kent he did well, I'll give him that. But a JLA film is going to be more about the costumed avengers than their alter-egos. And speaking of egos, the characters being featured in this film are iconic. Putting big name Hollywood actors in the roles would seriously detract from the characters themselves. I want to see a JLA film to see the heroes and NOT the actors AS the heroes. Christopher Reeve and Lynda Carter each pulled it off as Superman and Wonder Woman, respectively, because they were unknowns who made you believe that a man could fly and woman could kick any man's ass. My big concern is not the casting but more so the script. If I see one more portrayal of Lex Luthor I'll spit Kryptonite! And I know that folks are saying how Marvel's starting their Avengers franchise by introducing their heroes in their own films first, but X-Men, a Marvel property, did not do that. Case and point, there's a Wolverine origins film in the can and rumor of a Magneto origin film as well.
