Captain America Script Synopsis

Ever since a shield was spotted in the background of Iron Man people have been going nuts of the prospect of a Captain America movie. Marvel then announces that the movie is going to happen. We have heard stories about what the movie will involve specifically that it would take place during WWII which would be amazing! Production Weekly recently released a little story summary of what Captain America may end up being:
“Born during the Great Depression, Steve Rogers grew up a frail youth in a poor family. Horrified by the newsreel footage of the Nazis in Europe, Rogers was inspired to enlist in the army. However, because of his frailty and sickness, he was rejected. Overhearing the boy’s earnest plea, General Chester Phillips offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a special experiment… Operation: Rebirth. After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the “Super-Soldier Serum” and bombarded by “vita-rays.” Steve Rogers emerged from the treatment with a body as perfect as a body can be and still be human. Rogers was then put through an intensive physical and tactical training program. Three months later, he was given his first assignment as Captain America. Armed with his indestructible shield and and battle savvy, Captain America has continued his war against evil both as a sentinel of liberty and leader of the Avengers.”
Sounds like a very cool story line. I am just happy they are actually going to set this film in the 1940’s. That is the Captain America movie I have always wanted to see. The movie is set to be released May 6, 2011 so we got a ways to go but at least we have something awesome to look forward to.

Who is gonna play Red Skull?
Am I crazy to think that Will Smith could pull this off? I don’t know why but it just seems like he would fit the role nicely and put a spin on the Captain America story.
If by nice spin you mean make the story ridiculous, then good call. I am not a racist person, and our country has come a long way in sixty years(President Obama, who’da thunk it then?) but that’s just the thing about Captain America-he was created in the 1940’s, so no matter how open-minded we are now, it was a different time, and there’s no way the Captain would be black. They had segregates units and everything. Captain America became a Champion for equal rights though, and, briefly his role was assumed by a black man-the Falcon, aka Sam Wilson. However, I’d pick Jaime Foxx to play the Falcon over Will Smith. But I’d love to see him in the Avengers sequel.
Matt captain america is White. and if your talking about him playing for red skull he would have o be german.
