Here is the First epic trailer for Roland Emmerich’s 2012. It’s a very standard end of the world scenario that we have all seen before. Sure these guys know how to show you destruction and make it looks cool! This trailer proves that! But we can only hope they actually put together a decent story, but I doubt the will, they have failed to do so in the past. This film will most likely be a shallow film with lots of eye candy.

The movie stars John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Thomas McCarthy, and Woody Harrelson.

I love the end of the world concept behind 2012, I just don’t think Emmerich is going to be able to make a good story out of it. He can show all the world destruction he wants like he always does, but what’s the point if you don’t give a shit about the story or characters? It’s just going to be cool to look at.
