Bryan Fuller returning to help the ‘Heroes’

As you know Tim Kring recently fired Heroes head writers and co-producers Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander. As you know I have a little conspiracy theory about that. Kring wants to take the show in a new and better direction. I wondered who he would bring on to help him do that. EW reports that Bryan Fuller is the man of the hour.

If your not sure who Bryan Fuller is, he was with the ‘Heroes’ at the beginning. He went on to create such amazing shows as ‘Pushing Daisies’ which will most likely unfortunately get canceled, It is one of the best shows on TV right now. He also created ‘Dead Like Me’ which was another fantastic show. Fuller has proven to be a very talented guy, he told EW that:

“I am exclusive to Daisies through the delivery of the 13th episode of our 13-episode order, which will be mid-January, If Daisies isn’t picked up by then, I will definitely be going back to play with my friends at Heroes.”

So that’s pretty cool. It would be awesome if he was able to breath new life into the show and turn it into something absolutely incredible. Is it possible? I would like to hope so. I have always thought ‘Heroes’ had the making of something amazing. I feel It just has not yet lived up to its potential. Maybe it is time for ’Heroes’ to fulfill its destiny.

this is ridiculous. i’ve thought this has been the best season of heroes yet! each episode plays like an issue of a comic book. the characters are progressing, and threads are coming together to tie each individuals sub-plot to the bigger story arc. i think kring made a huge mistake. no offense to fuller, but what if daisies, which is an amazing show, does get picked up? where does that leave heroes? if kring really wanted to hire some top notch talent, he’ll be knocking on the doors of geoff johns, and mark millar to see if they could fit the show into their jam packed work schedules. i hate to hear that loeb and alexander are off the show. i just hope that whatever kring does produces a good show.
