Halloween 2 for Robs Zombies Halloween remake

We reported a while back that there was going to be a direct sequel to Rob Zombies dumbass hick remake of Halloween. here is some updated information on that. Looks like it’s unfortunatly still in the works. Dreadcentral got the scoop from producer Malek Akkad.

First off, the movie will be a direct sequel to Zombie’s re-imagining, but actual plot details couldn’t be revealed as of yet. Tyler Mane will be back as Michael, though, and other cast members are in talks to return as well. They’re hoping to begin pre-production in January with shooting to start up in March.

So who will direct? That’s still in negotiations, too. Last word was that Inside (DVD review) partners Alexandre Bustillo & Julien Maury would be behind Halloween 2, or whatever it ends up being called, but Akkad couldn’t say if that was final yet or not.

Hopefully this movie never really gets made. They might as well just remake the movie again and call it a re-imagining. It could be a better remake than the last remake.

I’m sick of the horror movie remakes! They are all trying to sell us this bullshit that there will be a new twist, and new re-imaging, and a new this and a new that. Fact of the matter is none of these directors or studios have the balls to actually try something new! In the end all they are going to give us is another piece of crap remake of a classic slasher horror film. That will be no different than anything else that has already been done.

i thought the remake was really cool it made micheal seem as strong as jason. yes the original will always be the best
but in the original micheal did not seem to be as strong and aggresive as the new micheal in the remake

who is this jackass talking shit about the remake. It was a lot darker than the first which made it so much more entertaining and a lot less cornier than any of the halloweens. Shut up fool.

  4. john trainor on January 18th, 09

well the reason why there doing so many remakes these day is because hollywood is running out of ideas even known it would be kool if they did do a sequal

right first of all i am a fan of all halloween films they rock , if you were a true fan youd want to see what happend with the franchise , i certainly do and halloween got shit after number 2 and the got good at 6 and ressurection killed it off we need to see micheal as a mad angry raging pshcho killing machine instead of a panzy ass perving babysitter killer
    Now all you dissers fuckoff

the whole point of a remake is to bring a classic icon such as jason or michael and make them desireable to this generation, yes the originals will forever remain classics, but who can deny the intensity of the remakes, more blood, guts, sex, and darkness, the true ingredients to a good slasher flick. So instead of bashing remakes, I call for a boycott of these bullshit pg-13 horror flicks. I can’t wait to see what the hellraiser remake looks like.

Everyone who said they liked the Halloween remake should be sterilized. You people are fucking RETARDS and wouldn’t know a good horror flick if it bit you on the ass. Rob Zombie’s white trash, trailer park version of a CLASSIC, was about as bad as it gets. I’d rather watch Halloween 3! Whoever did the casting ought to have their head examined. It was strictly HOT GARBAGE!!! Moustapha Akkad probably rolled over in his grave.

I support a h2 remake. rob zombie made the original remake a bit too brutal. he gave him a past that made him seem like he just got picked on and thats why he is a killer. the original kept it creepy by not saying why he was who he was. rob took the creepiness out and gave him a more aggressive mentality, which made it not so scary. a remake would be ok because if you are a fan you know you will see it just out of curiosity. even you critics who dnt know wat you are talking about cant deny that. thats called makin money. even if it sucks people will see the film to see someone elses point of view. good or bad. mr.akkad go with it! it will make money esp off people who dnt like the idea. goodluck and i ncant wait. but please dnt use tyler mane. he is too big and not humanlike.
