From what i've seen so far i'm hopeful but the main trouble is, we've waited so long for this movie and Christian Bale is such a genius choice IMO to take up the John Connor mantle but people are focusing so hard on what McG is, or isn't going to do and it's going to take away from what we all really want, and that's a Terminator movie with lots of big guns and violence. I'm going to reserve my judgement until the closing credits roll. Only then will we really know if he's fucked up or not. I’m not too concerned about what McG is going to do to this movie.
