Neil Gaimans ‘Coraline’ Movie Preview

This stop motion animated movie looks great! Coraline is based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and it was written and directed by Henry Selick, who was the guy that did ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’. This movie is also going to be presented in 3D so thats pretty cool as well.

Coraline Jones (Dakota Fanning) is bored in her new home until she finds a secret door and discovers an alternate version of her life on the other side. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life and the people in it – only much better. But when this seemingly perfect world turns dangerous, and her other parents (including her Other Mother voiced by Teri Hatcher) try to trap her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination and bravery to escape this increasingly perilous world – and save her family

Man, it’s been forever since I read that book…and then they made a graphic novel which I also couldn’t get ahold of. *sigh*

But I’m up for anything Neily! ANYTHING.

I honestly never read the book or graphic novel but if it is Neil Gaiman, I am there. Also Henry Selick never dissapoints.
