Fan Art: The Joker hits the Oscars

As you know Warner Bros is really pushing ‘The Dark Knight’ hard for the Oscars. It will be nominated for Best Picture and Heath Ledger for Best Supporting Actor those are a given. If they win remains to be seen. But this fan art is pretty cool. The artwork was posted by jmc in the superherohype.com forum.

I think it would be a shame if Health Ledger didn’t get nominated, and then win a best supporting actor for his role of the Joker (And i know people are gonna hate this) but i don’t think The Dark Knight really deserves a best picture win just becuase he was so good in it. You should award a movie a best picture oscar for the outstanding performance of one actor and i honestly thing that Health Ledger was the only good thing about that movie.

Oh Come on. You didn’t like Christian Bales crazy deep and raspy Batman voice of death?

I love Christian Bale! I am fangirl, hear my roar… I love his portrayal of Batman, but i have to admit that when i was watching the movie, his Batman was greatly overshadowed by the Joker. Another thing i found disappointing was the amount of villains in the movie. 3? Why on earth… Scarecrow had the shittiest wrap up from a Batman villain EVER.

The Joker should have been the main villain and let it lead into Two-Face being the villain for the next movie, letting him stretch his legs and really run amok. :| He was robbed >.>

yea, he’s definitely the main attaction of the show.
and if they can digitally enhance maggie glyenhaal out of the movie, it would definitely stand a chance to win best picture!

Honestly, in spite of the sucess of this film, I think the writers will have a hard time comming up with any ideas for a sequel. Especially because they wouldn’t be able to have Heath’s Joker.

Christian Bale was wonderful, but Heath stole the show. I remember anticipating when I would get to see the Joker emerge from the shadows and blow stuff up or remind everyone how he got his scars.

And also, even though Heath’s probably going to take the Oscar, Aaron Eckheart and Bale showed the world why it is they get paid so much to do what they do. The many emotions you feel comming from Batman as he struggles to keep up his crusade aginst those who kill for pleasure definately created an equally Oscar worthy performance. And it was so amazing watching Harvey Dent lose his love and his sanity… and half of his face.

    Jesus, I have no life…
