Friday the 13th Remake Poster

When I was growing up one of the things I always looked forward to was going to summer camp at Crystal Lake. Ah, the memories. There were always plenty of boobies and blood. This new poster really brings back the memories. After Crystal Lake was closed due to a crazy killer in a hockey mask, he must have got board not killing people so he decided to take a trip to Manhattan and kill some people there, he also made his way to hell, space, and he most recently faced off with rival Freddy Krugger. Well, Crystal Lake was recently remodeled so Jason has decided to go back to his old stomping grounds, reminisce about his past, and kill some people while he is at it. He has learned how to run after all these years.

The poster looks pretty cool. That is one hell of a big Machete he is holding. I would have to say that this is a remake of the sequel of ‘Friday the 13th’ for the fact that in the original Mrs. Voorhees was the killer. Sometime today a new trailer for the film will be released. We will get it to you as soon as it hits!

As awesome as that poster looks, and it does look good, i’m getting incresingly sick to death of hearing the word ‘remake’. This is why I wish i could stab people over the internet.

Please don’t stab me over the internet. There are several new buzz words in Hollywood to replace the word remake like re-invention, re-imagine, re-hash, re-tarded. If Hollywood stops remaking old movies we can stop using the word. I can try and cut back on the word, but it would be hard to cut it out completely.

X-D it’s ok Venkman, i don’t want to stab you so much as i want to stab the people that force us to use it. We shouldn’t have to use it so much, it shouldn’t be something that we mutter on a daily basis. There shouldn’t be ane ‘re-making, re-hashing or re-imagining’ at all. I really think if they branched out and tapped some lesser known talent they’d get their hands on fresh, new scripts instead of making and then forcing on us, movies that are just recycled crap that needs to be translated for a younger, stupider generation.

If you can’t enjoy the original in all of it’s glory then watch something else! BAH i hate Hollywood at the moment. :D
