I think it would have flowed better had he stuck o the original plan but he just wanted to wrap it up for his audience instead of leave them hanging like they did with Carnival. I still want to see how that ends! If the movie actually goes down it will be interesting to see how they go about doing it. It may seem awkward bu there is no doubt it will be good. It create a bunch of gaps and made the series disjointed. Now going forward is he going to jump to the time of Christ? There is a ton of material to go return and backfill the story but that would be awkward.
