‘Coraline’ is a very stylistic looking stop motion animated 3D film that I am really looking forward to watching. The film looks oddly fun and imaginative. The film is based on a novella by Neil Gaiman, and is being directed by Henry Selick who is the talent that brought us ‘the Nightmare before Christmas’. The story is about A young girl named Fanning who walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life, only much better. But when her adventure turns dangerous, and her counterfeit parents try to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home, and save her family.
