As you know ‘Gran Torino’ was my favorite film of 2008, it just blew me away in every way possible. I hope that you get a chance to go out and see this movie and experience it for yourself. If you have seen ‘Gran Torino’ you know what a great movie it is.
The song is called ‘Gran Torino’ and is performed by Jamie Cullum, The music video was made by Warner Bros and I think it really captures the spirit of the film. I think the reason for this music video coming out now is to help press it to get nominated for and possibly win best original song at the Academy Awards.
Love the song and the movie! Had a 1972 Torino when I was 15.5 years old. My then boyfriend, bought it for me. He was a much older 18 year old boy. I married him 34 years ago. We are still married. Yesterday he bought me a NEW old 1972 Gran Torino. Just like the one I had 35 years ago. It only had 33,128 miles on it and looks like new. I'm so excited I can hardly set still. It will soon arrive in Oklahoma and I can drive down Main Street with pride and reminisce. Can't wait to show up at the Sonic with my friends!
