I have enjoyed watching all of the ‘Resident Evil’ movies. I have a soft spot for these types of silly action flicks, what can I say? I think they are fun. I know not everyone is going to agree with me on that. I think the movies are terribly written and the acting mediocre, but the girls are hot and the action is awesome. So it will be no surprise to you when I say I’m looking forward to this one. Joblo recently got some news on what is currently going down with the Resident Evil 4 project:
Paul Anderson wrote the screenplay but he is not coming back to direct.
It sucks he wont direct but chances are they will find someone better.
The screenplay is more akin to RE2 in terms of style, but with better dialogue. The overall tone is also very dark.
Is it darker than Dark Knight dark? Its just that dark word has been thrown around allot since the release of ‘The Dark Knight’
There’s enough hand to hand fights in the script for them to bring in a martial arts choreographer.
Will Zombies know Kung Fu?!
Patrick Tatopoulos (R3) will be in charge of the creature effects and they will have a new Special FX supervisor (in terms of the the practical effects) – Michael Lantieri (JURASSIC PARK 3)
The script is complete (they’re at Draft 2)) and they’re going to start casting before making any more script changes.
So far, they will be filming in Toronto and Tokyo. Toronto will actually front for Alaska.
They will be hiring a director once they have Milla officially signed back on.
If Milla Jovovich doesn’t come back to reprise her role, then there is really no reason to see the movie.

Hey i love the films and games but films more you have no idea how much i love these films i love em like crazy. and i hope milla comes abck too if she dont i’ll cry i’ll still see the film but i wont enjoy it as much as i did befoer. but alice is in the script so is claire cause it take splace in tokyo and alsaska to yeah alice and claire are in it. so im sure milla will come back and ali. milla brother might convince her to come back and milla loves RE films and games so she wil come back. and jill comes back too.
