Samuel L. Jackson no Longer Nick Fury?

Samuel L. Jackson is the kind of guy that gets an audience pumped up for a movie, Marvel knew this when they brought him in to Play the role of Nick Fury at the end of ‘Iron Man’ and when he came in the picture the crowed cheered with approval. Jackson ran into Director Jon Favreau not to long ago and was told “I hope things are working out for you because we’re writing stuff for you…” So that sounds encouraging right? Well, apparently things are not looking so good for Jackson to reprise his role as Nick Fury in ‘Iron Man 2′, ‘Captain America’, and ‘The Avengers’. Here is what he told the LA Times: “I talked to my agents and manager and things aren’t really working that well.” He goes on to say, “somebody else will be Nick Fury or maybe Nick Fury won’t be in it.” I would think Nick Fury has to be in it, so it seems like that are going to go with someone else. It sucks that Jackson who is a pretty big fanboy himself won’t make an appearence in the future Marvel films, but since it looks like he is out, who do you think should be in?

OH no! Sounds like it’s not for sure for sure though…? Maybe…?

I would like to keep an open mind and think it is not a for sure thing yet, but only time will tell and we will know what this all means in the near future.

Maybe Sam Jackson’s agents are trying to get ridiculous money. Sam’s a cool cat but c’mon, let’s face it, he’s ALWAYS Sam, there’s nothing special there.Marvel has a budget, if Sams agents are demanding a payday that will put them over then oh well, say hi to Terrance on the way out. How bout Cheadle instead…oh, wait..

This is stupidity. No really, i’m not sure how else to say it. It makes no fucking sense. I really hope this is misinformation.

The Nick Fury they gave us at the end of ‘Ironman’ was Ultimate Universe Nick Fury, all black and sexy and it’s a known fact that Ultimate Universe Nick Fury was, modeled both looks and personality after Samuel L. Jackson (With his permission of course). So the natural progression to this is him taking on the role of Nick Fury in the movies. I, the rabid fangirl, like a lotta fangirls/boys was presuming that Samuel L. Jackson would take up the role again in any Avenger related movies and if this really is the case and he isn’t going to be in Ironman 2, Captain America (This for me would be the biggest disapointment) and The Avengers Movie (The second biggest dispointment, i’m not too worried about him being in Ironman) Then they should never have put him at the end of Ironman in the first place.

This is the biggest cocktease disapointment since the ‘easter egg slap in the face’ that was Captain America on the Hulk DVD extras.
