EW’s 25 Greatest Active Film Makers

Hey Gang! It’s been a long day for me, and I am really trying to stay on top of things for you, but today has just been one of those crazy days where I am trying to keep up with everything but I am drowning in tons of work so I am doing what I can.
Entertainment Weekly just put out their list of the 25 greatest Active Film Directors. The actual article is one of those annoying EW slid slow articles that takes forever to get through, which you can go through if you want because they also discuss why a particular director is on the list. Its a good list but personally I would have put Ron Howard at least in the top five. What say you?
1. Steven Spielberg
2. Peter Jackson
3. Martin Scorsese
4. Christopher Nolan
5. Steven Soderbergh
6. Ridley Scott

this is why i never read EW anymore. There are so many so many more amazing directors not on that list. To name a few who would make a decent list but not even really be a good list by any standards would include: Terrence Malik, Kar Wai-Wong, Sofia Coppola, at the very least.
the following should not be on the list at all. talk about a list devised to make people happy. grr.
2. Peter Jackson
4. Christopher Nolan
6. Ridley Scott
7. Quentin Tarantino
9. James Cameron
11. Guillermo del Toro
13. Tim Burton
14. Judd Apatow
15. Sam Raimi
16. Zack Snyder
18. Danny Boyle
19. Clint Eastwood
20. Ron Howard
21. Ang Lee
22. Paul Thomas Anderson
