The first teaser poster for Guy Ritchie and Robert Downey Jr.’s next movie ‘Sherlock Holmes’ has made it appearance today online. It popped up over at ShoWest in Las Vegas. Both Latino Review and Collider have a good amount of photos from the floor in Vegas. I am pretty pumped up for this movie. I am interested to see what Guy Ritchie will do with this characters. I don’t think he hasn’t made a good movie since ‘Snatch’, I hope he pulls this off.
In a dynamic new portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous characters, Sherlock Holmes sends Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson on their latest challenge. Revealing fighting skills as lethal as his legendary intellect, Holmes will battle as never before to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country. Based on Lionel Wigram’s yet-to-be-published comic.
Sherlock Holmes will hit theater Christmas Day December 25th this year.
I’m psyched. And I really want to read that graphic novel as well. The idea of turning Holmes into a lean, mean fighting machine really appeals to me.
This is one movie I really would like to see…it had Jude Law in it and he is one of the actors I enjoy the work of. Plus I am curious what Downey Jr. and Ritchie bring to the film.
Well, I for one am loving the poster. It makes me envision awesome things are in store, just like a poster should. So here’s hoping…
