GHOSTBUSTERS 3 Being Produced by Judd Apatow

Ghostbusters 3 is really starting to pick up some momentum! It looks like it is actually going to happen! I have to admitt when I first heard about this project I wasn’t too excited, mostly because the storyline I heard about sucked and the original cast was not going to be involved. But now that the original cast is involved and that some decnt writers are now writing it I have to say I am pretty pumped up for the project.

Now today Production Weekly is reporting that Ghostbuster 3 is officially being produced by none other than Judd Apatow Productions, which would make perfect sense. With his name attached to the project it will give it even more marketability, as if it didn’t have enogh already just with the name. ‘The Office’ writers Lee Eisenberg and Greg Stupnitsky are currently working on the script with Harold Ramis. It should be interesting to see who they end up casting in the film. Do you think they will bring in people like Jason Segal, Paul Rudd, and Seth Rogan? If they do, are you ok with that?

I’m just happy that they are not remaking the original and that this will be a continuation of the story.

Hey Chimp! Not sure if Rick Moranis is in it or not. But he really does need to stop Blowing his kids up and shrinking them.

If they’re getting the original cast back just hope they get Bill Murray.

I think it would be interesting if they get a new cast (for me Paul Rudd (venkman), Seth Rogen(egon), Steve Carrell (stantz), Jon Heder (Tully (IDK why, I just always think of him as a dweeby comedic type)) and Craig Robinson (winston) would be amazing) and have the actors from the original come back for a cameo or something. But then again that’s just me.
