Ok, so this is just getting weirder and stranger. I’m not sure what is going on here, but we have some new details on what is going on with Deadpool in the ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ movie. This information could be a possible spoiler. I am not sure if this information is real or not but this is what I found out, and I still don’t like it!
Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson A.K.A. Deadpool is in the movie for 10 minutes in the beginning of the film. He is part of Stryker’s team, and he is obviously good with swords and killing people.
So what about this new look we have going on in these pictures? Well, Stryker has this big plan to make the ultimate mutant weapon. A mutant with a ton of crazy ass mutant powers. This Mutant is called Weapon XI. I’m not finished yet! It gets worse!
Stryker uses Wade Wilson’s Body as the mutant power receptacle. I assume all of the scarring is a result of getting all these mutant powers packed into the poor bastard. This is Weapon XI and he is played by Scott Adkins, Weapon XI appears for about 10 minutes near the end of the film and has the claws, optic blast, teleportation ability, healing factor, and his mouth is sewn shut. And here is the kicker. Are you ready for this?
Just like Weapon X is given the name Wolverine, Weapon XI is given the name Deadpool. Therefore this is FOX’s version of Deadpool.
So there it is. If this is true then it sucks ass and I have no idea how they plan on doing a Deadpool spin-off unless, they do a prequel.
Apparently all of the other mutants that appear in the film will only come in for short periods of time as cameos. I guess Gambit only has a 10 minute scene in the movie as well.
And One more BIG SPOILER about the film:
Toplessrobot also points out that there’s a cameo by Charles Xavier at the end of the movie. They say, When Stryker’s compound is falling apart and Wolverine is leading young Emma Frost and Cyclops out of the building, Cyclops suddenly knows the way out. When they get to the door, standing there — oh yes, standing — is Charles Xavier, controlling wee Cyclops’ mind like he’ll be doing several billion more times in the future. He’s apparently not played by Patrick Stewart.
So there it is. So whats going through your head about all this? Rant back to us below.

Guh, leave it to Fox to screw up Deadpool. My real problem is that I’m pretty sure Ryan Reynolds knows Deadpool fairly well, so I’m a little surprised he didn’t make a fuss about it. But you never know, I reserve absolute judgment until I see the film. Until then I have fanboy judgment, boooo FOX BOOOOO!!!!

ok well first off all deadpool os deapool in the movie, and the character thats pale white with the stuff from his eyes and baraka like blades is weapon xi… if anyone on here follows this you would figure it out… after wolverine aka weapon x the continued the project and developed other ones… weapon xi basically has various mutant’s powers including cyclops’ laser outta’ the eye beam… which explains the reason why they are after scott summers, beacuse otherwise there is no reason for him to be in the film, it look like the movie should be awesome for anyone, specially if you know the storyline…
This is the DeadPool from fox… But, he will have the own movie. A clone of Wade Wilson? Maybe. Man, Baraka wins?
Deadpool is my FAVORITE comic character. If this is true, I will be SUPREMELY pissed. Screw Fox. Get Marvel on the phone, have them retcon the WHOLE thing and REDO Deadpool in his own movie!

I could not imagine a worse fate for the character we all know as Deadpool. I don’t understand why Ryan Reynolds would have ever agreed to the dismantling of his character in such a way that it is no longer recognizable to the fans. I hope this is not the case.

none of the deadpool rant is true, weapon XI is a completely different muntant, composed of other mutants different powers includint deadpools martial arts abilities…and they were going to have reynolds have a small part as deadpool, but after he was cast into the film, they decided to make it a bigger role.
Deadpool took up a job as a mercenary, and his face/body got scarred. This probably what it is. If they do a Deadpool movie, he’ll be in the suit that Deadpool normally wears.
PATRICK STEWART DOES PLAY XAVIER I DOWNLOADED A VERSION OF THE MOVIE THATS NOT FULLY DONE BEING EDITED GRAPHICS WISE BUT NONE THE LESS THE PLOT IS THERE AND YES DEADPOOL IS WEAPON XI WOLVERINE EVEN GOES AS FAR AS SAYIN “LOOKS LIKE STRYKER FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO SHUT YOU UP” AND REFERS TO HIM AS WADE. I saw the movie too. But even though weapon xi seems like he would be deadpool, in the credits they are cast as different actors. Wade Wilson and weapon xi are different guys maybe?
Or maybe im just searching for an excuse cuz the reality of it sucks so bad. it’s still something to ponder.

Ive seen the “leaked” version of X-Men I was not impressed at all don’t think any amount of special effects or extra scenes could stop this from being a terrible film also was not impressed with Deadpool doing a Darth Maul impression

I saw the leaked movie. In the movie Stryker experiments with Ademantium wIth Wolverine. And it works, but he had bigger plans. Stryker was getting DNA samples of mutants to create one super weapon (weapon XI). So when he successfully gives Wolverine an Adamantium skeleton he plans to get a DNS sample, and then “get rid of him” wolverine is weapon X, but what striker really wanted was a better weapon XI. Wolverine hears it while he is in the tank, and thats why he escapes the facility. The one getting the dna samples for stryker was his own brother sabretooth.
The mutant you see in the picture is a mix of a lot of mutants. Striker gives him the powers of several mutants. He has the skills of Wade Wilson/Deadpool, he ALSO has an ademantium skeleton (but he only has one blade on each arm), he has tele-transportation abilities (such as Will I am’s character), cyclops power, and the Blob’s strenght. So he is like a super mutant.
In the end Wolverine and Sabertooth join forces to defeat them and finally decapitate him.
Stryker shoots Wolverine with Ademantium bullets, and thats how he looses his memory.
To all those hoping to see a lot of action from Gambit, don’t get your hopes up.
Oh, and also, Wolverine’s wife is not really killed, it was a setup from the beginning so that Wolverine would let Stryker put ademantium in his body.
The movie is good, and I;m definitely watching it again when it comes out.
Patrick Stewart does play Xavier, get your facts straight before quoting an idiot.
I just got a confirmation from FOX, that the Deadpool we see here, is actually a Skrull!
Right, well here’s some Spoiler related stuff!
If the big boys up there have any imagination (which this movie has shown me is unlikely) they can still salvage Deadpool from the scrap yard!
Here’s what you do: Deadpool lost his head? Perfect! he regrows/reattaches it! His brain is damaged from being without oxygen for too long and he becomes the loopy DP we love. His eyes get damaged, so no more optic blast, and as a result, his eyes are that solid milky white. He fell into a cooling tower on three mile island? Excellent! He gets his terrible skin cancer problem, and becomes the lovable freddy kreuger look alike we hold dear in our hearts. Somewhere along the lines the swords were torn out of his body in the crumbling mess. Teleportation? meh, we let spiderman get away with having organic webshooters, we can give Wade this one since he sometimes has a machine that could do that. Perfect! All that’s left is to let him be nursed back to health by Bea Arthur.
yeaaa see the thing is wolverine isn’t weapon X hes weapon 10 (the X has been a Romain numeral this whole time)

OK, so I heard that all the scars are there because the healing factor doesn’t work. I read a theory over at filmschoolrejects.com (http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/news/x-men-origins-wolverine-solving-the-deadpool-mystery.php) that at the end of the movie Adkins’ deadpool will get hacked to bloody pieces at which point the healing factor will kick in and the other powers will go away, creating some horribly scarred Ryan Reynolds deadpool. I heard Reynolds is a gigantic fan of deadpool, so here’s hoping this is an alternate origin of deadpool that will still lead to a wise-cracking Ryan Reynolds deadpool.

I saw the leaked version out here in Iraq… Deadpool’s guy in the beginning is of course a wiseass and one of the comments made was “Perfect soldier if they could just get him to shut up…” Hence the no mouth. Actually even without the special effects it was a pretty OK flick. Blob is in it. Gambit is in it for about 10 minutes. Patrick Stewert was Xavier if I remember it right. You get more on the striker bastard and why Wolverine lost his memory. You also get some Victor moments within it also.
But deadpool was a hell of a wiseass when he can talk, that I can tell you. “Great, trapped in an elevator with five men on a high protien diet..”

For those of you who haven’t seen the leaked version, those aren’t claws that Weapon XI has in his forearms, they’re Wade’s katana coated in Adamantium.
Yet another perfect comic book series mangled in a movie because the film industry is packing way too many characters in a short movie. It sounds like another X3 disaster or better yet Spider Man 3 screw-up. They can do so much with these stories yet they produce garbage. I don’t thik it is the actors faults I blame the writers.

BBBBBB! SSSSSSS! if thats ture fans are gonna rip this movie apart and theres the end of the origans series. Im not sur if they realize how beloved these charecters are, and how much they nean to the fans, so to set them so far apart from the way they should be, they come up with weapin XI?? Well I saw it, honestly I don’t understand why everyone’s complaining about Deadpool. He’s NOT Deadpool in this movie… that’s going to come later. They just rearranged Deadpool’s timeline a bit. He’s Wade for about 10 mins early on in the film, and then he is turned into Weapon XI. He’s going to become the Deadpool everyone is familiar with later on, possibly in his own film.

Sad but true, I saw the movie today and saw the butchered-up basterd and had no idea that it was Deadpool, I mean come on, at least give Deadpool the bad ass costume…or a gun to the director so he can shoot himself!
Yeah I saw it over the weekend, it was pretty lame – good action, bad story and character f-ups. Xavier is played by Patrick Stewart though – though he has a lot of make up on to make him look younger. deadpool is a kick to the nuts -how can you take away the mouth of the merc with the mouth?! And swords do not need to come out of his arms like wolvie’s claws do, nor does he need cyclops’ blast – but he does have it. And what he doesnt have is guns – which he could have gotten (and the crazy ass ability to shoot them)from Agent Zero. And the blob is a complete waste of time in this movie – and worse off is the way Wolverine loses his memory! Needless to say, I left the theatre disappointed.
and May – He is Deadpool in the movie, Stryker even calls him Deadpool – and what is going to do – getlaser surgy on his mouth so he can talk again for a later movie? JUNK.

marvel did do the wolverine movie stan lee was the bloody producer. and while i agree that they did not follow the original character at all, the man who drew the comic was the one who got the say in what was done. and it was weapon xi, not deadpool yet. if they make a deadpool movie, they will probably use reynolds and will go more in depth into the character.
The game is better. But then again, it did come first so it makes more sense to portray it that way.

Guys. My brother played a marvel comic game for PS2 that had Deadpool depicted the he was in this movie.
CYCLOPS WAS NOT FUCKING PERFECT. They fucked up his power like they did everyone else's. I'm trying not to sound super nerdy when saying this, but it's not a fucking laser beam, it's a concussive blast of energy, no heat involved, and the fact that they changed it for no reason what so ever pisses me off. How the fuck do they fit 3 feet of katana into 1 foot of Deapool's forearm? I can understand the healing, and the teleportation, those are comic based, but the laser eyes sucked. They should have pooled Zero in there and kept his Baraka claws out, so he'd just be raw with swords and guns, like the REAL Deadpool is. If i wanted to see a movie with a lot of action, bad plot, and shit all over the source material and original characters, i would have seen Dragonball Evolution.
