The Beatles are teaming up with Rock Band!

When Guitar Hero and Rock Band made there video game debut I always said what they needed was a game strictly dedicated to The Beatles and now it is actually happening! Rock Band for XBox360 and PS3 are developing a new video game that will focus on (in my opinion) one of the greatest rock bands of all time, The Beatles. Variety reports:
The Beatles’ management said Thursday that a Beatles version of the Rock Band video game will debut in September. In addition, they’ll sell accompanying instruments modeled after the ones used by the band.
Giles Martin, son of Beatles producer George Martin, is developing the product. The Beatles, who broke up four decades before video games were invented, have been slow in embracing new technology: their music is still not available for sale on iTunes.
This has got to be costing a hell of a lot of money to produce this thing. I honestly thought this would never happen, but I am so glad it is because it is going to be fanstastic! I myself have the Guitar Hero but it looks like when this comes out in september I will have to go out and get myself a Rock Band. So what songs are you looking forward to playing!?
as a hard core beatles fan i think this is AWESOME!
the only thing is there aren’t too many songs that would be guitar hero friendly…
