There is a lot of footage from the last trailer we saw for the new Wolverine movie but there are also a few little other clips, like what in the hell did they do to Deadpool! We showed you the Deadpool toy not to long ago, but this is our first real look at him with his new powers and his new look. I am excited to see the movie but I am incredibly disappointed with the changes FOX made too the character Deadpool. Check out the new full Wolverine trailer below and I have provided screenshots of Deadpool below that.

Now people are saying that this is not Deadpool but that it is Weapon XI. I don’t believe this for that fact the box the toy comes in clearly says Deadpool, and even Hugh Jackman has said that Deadpool had been changed, and Marvel is pissed about what they did to Deadpool. Did they turn Deadpool into this Weapon XI? I hope I’m wrong.

Deadpool looks Entirely ridiculous. Other then that, looks like the standard marvel blockbuster. Which is no bad thing.
you’re right, besides the catapult to the helicopter thing, Deadpool is dumbest move in comic movies I’ve seen since… Spidey 3. Why do producers/ directors get away with this shit?
This freakin sucks! I thought that Ryan Reynolds was the perfect choice for Deadpool, then Fox had to go and screw everything up.
I dunno…I’m holding out hope that somehow it isn’t Deadpool and that they’re just hoping to throw us off.
I don’t get what people’s problems are with DP. In the comics, he was a merc who went to Department K because of cancer and they experimented on him to see if they could duplicate Wolverine’s healing factor. Then kicked out when it didn’t seem to work.
In the film, he’s somehow a part of Team-X (Department K’s ‘group’), a kick-ass agent, scarred, and gets powers duplicated in him. Wolverine’s claws (and presumably healing factor), Cyclops’ eye-beams, and in return has had to make his face look more like his costume’s mask.
Of course, I do have a problem with the swords – they’re much too long to actually fit inside his arms whilst allowing him to bend them – if they do retract. Which looks unlikely.
I’m a huge fan of ‘Pool, and have been a constant updater of his Marvel Database Wikia page, but I’m fine with his Origins appearence. Something to bare in mind with comicbook adaptations – they do the best job they can with the material. The public doesn’t want to see a Wolverine film staring a cancer-scarred, insane mercenary making jokes as he kills random people and talks about chimichanga’s . Deadpool fans do – but this is a Wolverine film.

You know, looking more at the pics, the dude fighting wolverine doesn’t really look like Ryan Reynolds. Plus looking at Reynold’s stunt double Scott Adkins’ websites (both fan and non) I’m inclined to believe that the toy people didn’t really know what they were talking about.

deadpool IS played by ryan reynold and he does NOT look like that in the movie, he looks like, well… ryan reynolds (i haven’t seen any pictures of him in his fun red suit- then again i haven’t actually been looking for any, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be).
the character shown above IS weapon xi played by scott adkins. scott adkins is also, if i’m not mistaken, ryan reynold’s stunt double, which could have led to the confusion between deadpool and weapon xi.
so, that leaves me to assume the toy producers are wrong.

deadpool is turned into weapon xi by stryker (i’m new to the whole comic world, so i may sound like an ignorant shit). conclusively, like stryker used logan/wolverine’s ability to regenerate and heal to create weapon x (but we all know how that turned out), he took wade/deadpool’s ability to regenerate and heal quickly to create weapon xi- same characters, in a way, different actors.
You repeatedly see Ryan Reynolds in the trailer, in a red suit, with 2 swords.. But if you don’t wanna believe he’s playing Deadpool then go ahead..
Wow, if you look at the last pic I think this is the scene where this gigantic structure collapses in the trailer! This might be how Wolvie takes this whoever character out. Can’t wait for some amazing escapism this summer! Im a big x-comic fan but im not gonna get all crazy about the how,why’s and whatnots of a film! Lets not get all rowdy over these things and just be happy that we have the true source…the books!
Ok, This is how its gonna be. The pics your seeing is deadpool. Now before you skip this comment listen to this. Wade wilson is “the merc with a mouth” in the beigining of the film. However, it has also been said that Scott adkins is Ryans Stunt Double who plays deadpool. This is all true. Wade Wilson is dying from cancer in the movie and needs a regenerative healing factor to live. The reason why they did “reshoots” was because they didnt have enough of Ryan as Wade. So anyway wade is put into weapon xi which is 11 numerically after x which is wolverine “weapon x”. Scott Adkins said he will be the last charecter wolverine fights. The reason they gave him the laser eyes is because theyre “pimping out” deadpool into an unstoppable weapon (which is what they all are) to bring wolverine down. So X-men,deadpool,or even fans of th movies should rejoice because Deadpool is going to be the ending GRAND FINALE villan who kicks the shit out of wolverine. Plus he might change in the end and become the “good guy” having his own spinoff. Oh what dreams may come.

Ok so i have always been a huge fan of deadpool and just like all of the others i think this is a giant mistake. Ryan is a great choice for deadpool but turning him into this lame new weap XI. there is NO way this guy will turn into a spin off. its way to early to bring a great char into this just to turn him into some s**tty super mutant! marvel good job with a grat new movie but i HATE u for killing my second favorite “hero”….. and where the F is cable without deadpool anyways???

Wade Wilson joins the Weapon X program because he has cancer. Stryker gives him the abilities of several mutants, in order to create one super-mutant. He and Wolverine go from friendly banter to all-out enemies. Wolverine and Sabrettoth team up to defeat him. At the end, he’s left badly scarred and loses all those extra powers, thus becoming the Deadpool we all know. The end.
I don’t know how accurate or credible this is, but I heard that the explanation for the super long blades is his arms are because he broke his katanas and shoved them in to mock Wolverine. I don’t know if that’s true, but it sounds awesome and like something Deadpool would do.
As for the laser vison… I really hope that somehow it’s Cyclops blasting him in the face. I don’t think I could handle the super lameness if it’s not.
Maybe we’re all wrong and need to shut the fuck up and trust in what’s to come. It wouldn’t be the first time fanboys have overreacted just to find out they were WRONG. GASP!

That is Deadpool. I just saw the movie and it was really dumb. Deadpool is a pool of everyone’s powers. I hope the finished product is better than the leaked movie.

I just watched the leaked movie. I’m sorry to say, but that is deadpool. They explain why he is shooting lasers out of his eyes, and that has to do w the whole weapon 11 thing. im super pissed about the mouth, but i think they were trying to mimic his mask. regardless, they completely change everything that was cool about deadpool. Wade wilson however, was done well.
Stryker and Wolverine both refer to him as Wade. Wade Wilson, soon to be Deadpool. I don’t think they can salvage him after this for any other live action movie. When Reynolds plays the characters, he’s just Wade the wise cracking badass mercenary with swords. That “thing”, technically speaking isn’t Deadpool (also a pool of everyone’s powers is not why he took up that name). I can buy the teleportation bit, since even though he uses gadgets for that teleportation is a classic Deadpool shtick. The healing factor is perfect because he does in fact heal faster the Wolverine. The stupid fucking sword arms and the stupid fucking eye beams are fucking stupid. What kills me though is they need to OPEN HIS GODDAMN MOUTH!
i saw a bootleg of this movie. wolveine implies that that thing is deadpool, but its never proven. in a close-up, you see ryan reynolds eyes and how he moves is very familiar to how ryan did in van wilder. its hard to explain, but you will see when the movie comes out.
ryan implied in an interview that this “wepon XI” is wade wilson gone mad, with a few twists. hugh and ryan say they are dissipointed in what fox has done with deadpool

I saw the leaked movie. In the movie Stryker experiments with Ademantium wIth Wolverine. And it works, but he had bigger plans. Stryker was getting DNA samples of mutants to create one super weapon (weapon XI). So when he successfully gives Wolverine an Adamantium skeleton he plans to get a DNS sample, and then “get rid of him” wolverine is weapon X, but what striker really wanted was a better weapon XI. Wolverine hears it while he is in the tank, and thats why he escapes the facility. The one getting the dna samples for stryker was his own brother sabretooth.
The mutant you see in the picture is a mix of a lot of mutants. Striker gives him the powers of several mutants. He has the skills of Wade Wilson/Deadpool, he ALSO has an ademantium skeleton (but he only has one blade on each arm), he has tele-transportation abilities (such as Will I am’s character), cyclops power, and the Blob’s strenght. So he is like a super mutant.
In the end Wolverine and Sabertooth join forces to defeat them and finally decapitate him.
Stryker shoots Wolverine with Ademantium bullets, and thats how he looses his memory.
To all those hoping to see a lot of action from Gambit, don’t get your hopes up.
Oh, and also, Wolverine’s wife is not really killed, it was a setup from the beginning so that Wolverine would let Stryker put ademantium in his body.
The movie is good, and I;m definitely watching it again when it comes out.

Movie wasnt all that bad… gambit has about ten minutes, and the deadpool played by ryan renolds has about five. things could have been better, but it wasnt terrible. They have to satisfy everyone now a days. not just the people who know how its supposed to be.

what happend was obvious…wolverine lives his life with his bro viktor, they join the weapon x group,wolverine cant handle just killing people for no reason,he leaves and viktor(sabertooth) goes balistic, he and striker carry out the plains to get the powers for weapon xi bunt need james(logan/wolverine) so they take some1 to convincec him that viktor has to die so they can put the adimantium in him, they then try to take his memories but he hears and runs. he then kills agent 0 and goes for answers. he finds john wraith(jumper/ teleporter(( like nightcrawler))) wen they go find gambit john is killed by viktor and logan gives it to him but gambit gets in it and logan soon takes care of him but viktor gets away and logan and remmy(gambit) take off for a necular plant. logan finds his way to striker and gets pissd off about what was really going on and his love wasnt dead.he runs but comes back when viktor hurts the girl and he gives it to him once again. but instead just jaws the crap out of him. striker activates weapon xi who later turns out to b wade with the dna and abilities of the othr ppl but it dosent make sense bcuz deadpool is a mercanary who wears a mask and a torn out heart, it cazy…nothing in the marvel archives about this…gay-ass movie writters. but viktor comes to logans aid and logan cuts off his head but striker shoots logan in the head twice then the girls powers of hypnotism tells striker to walk till his feet bleed. logan gets up and dosent remembr anyhting,,, a bettr ending would be deadpool getting up to become who he is in the comic book or someone found him to remove his powers and be the merc with a mouth

As much as a criticize Ryan Reynolds for being a one trick pony, that one trick is finally a perfect fit for a role. So what do they do? They change the role! Why put Deadpool in the movie to begin with, then cast an actor who fits the mold to a tee JUST to deprive loyal fans of seeing the true character on the big screen. Why not just invent “Weapon XI”??? Deadpool’s a cult classic! Let us nerds enjoy him in a movie. Its bad enough to poorly cast Doctor Doom, Daredevil and Hulk (twice), but its far worse to completely change the character. Would the movie really have made less money???

i guess they just got too literal with the word “deadpool” and made him a zombie pool of powers, giving him retracting swords, healing, teleportation and cyclops optical blasts..

I believe that when I saw WEAPON XI that maybe he or it is probably not DEADPOOL because from what I read in the comics DEADPOOL never turned into WEAPON XI. Maybe in the movie WEAPON XI was a last minute idea for STRYKER because he knew WOLVERINE could not be stopped. DEADPOOL was always a good guy in the comics. The powers of WEAPON XI were not from DEADPOOL because WRAITH had teleportation,CYCLOPS had the eye beams, WOLVERINE had the claws,SABERTOOTH had the agility. Cant remember what else he had but the markings on his body were the same markings WOLVERINE had during the weapon x procedure. I have a strong hint WEAPON XI is not DEADPOOL. THINK ABOUT THAT.

I think you need to do your research. Ryan Reynolds is playing deadpool. He’s dresses like him without a mask and no messed up face. But he does crack jokes.
I saw the movie (with the full intent of dressing up and going to see the show in theaters several times, so don’t go all moral on me) and I nearly cried. They took the mouth from the merc with a mouth…. gah! Deadpool was always my favourite smaller character in the Xmen series (really, in the whole marvel universe), so I’m understandably upset.
When I heard this movie was coming out, i was so excited. Wolverine, Gambit and Deadpool are my three favourites, just because they’re so damn interesting. Certainly an origins movie involving them has to be something epic, right? No. I wouldn’t suggest seeing this movie or giving any money to the company that keeps raping the Xmen and turning them into something horribly unrecognizeable.

Sad as it is, this is Deadpool. Will says to Logan about how he was the last part to the puzzle, the last part to the pool in creating weapon XI. Deadpool becomes the weapon XI – complete with Cyclop rays, Adamantium like blades and also has the skill to teleport around.

i saw the movie today in theaters. Personally, I know next to nothing about Deadpool, but I understood that they changed him in the movie. I thought the laser eyes were kind of a cop out, but the acrobatics and the katana blades coming out of his arms were kind of cool.
I didn’t get to see the clip after the credits with him in it – the version I saw had a clip with Wolverine in Japan – but I hope they make a Deadpool spin off. I quite liked him.

IDK, I sort of liked the fact that his mouth was stitched up because striker refers to him (wade) being the perfect soldier if it weren’t for his mouth, so I thought it fit, especially because that would be something striker would do, just because he could…
Yep, in the clip at the end of the credits his mouth isn’t sewn shut anymore. The whole, “Shh.” thing is supposedly a reference to him breaking “the fourth wall”. All is not lost; his lack of mouth didn’t last very long.

Thats not the real deadpool. it’s a clone. There are two scenes that can be shown after the credits of the movie. Depedning what movie theater you’re out. One of them is wolverine at a japanese bar. The other shows An intact Ryan Reynolds (actor for deadpool) picking up THE CLONE DEADPOOL WEAPON XI and saying “Who the hell are you?” DEADPOOL LIVES. Technically the storyline of the movie does not coincide with the comics perfectly. That thing isn’t the real deadpool.

Haha I love how much people whinge about “spoiling” the movie. They NEVER told you to read it! And correct me if I’m wrong, but they warned you about the spoliers.
I never read the comics so I cant say that I know alot about it all.. and its probably why I thought the movie was okay. Not the greatest but okay. And honestly you cant tell me you expected them to make it how you remember the comics to be. I dont think I’ve found one movie that I liked after I read the book to it. They ALWAYS change things to try and accomodate the general populations view (and unfortunately from reading comments, I think I would’ve liked it better had it been made like the comics).

Don’t know if you already saw the movie, but i have. In the begining, deadpool was a part of the team wolverine was in, consisting of mutants that were led by stryker. In the end of the movie, it’s revealed that stryker is creating a new mutant, weapon 11, and it’s deadpool but he has all the mutant powers of all the captured mutants, like Wolverine(his blades), Cyclops(his eyes), and the one teleporting guy played by will.i.am is a big strength for deadpool. I think the ending is a total cop-out. It’s an okay movie, but not one you go see in theatres. they totally screwed up deadpools classic image.

I just saw the movie and I saw the Surprise after the credits. Weapon 11 wakes up after being decapitated and touches his own face and goes “Shhh” what Shhh means I dont know, but I get the feeling that this is DeadPool. He gets his mouth back obviously, considering in the movie he was activated unfinished and controlled by stryker.
So he has his mouth back, he isnt controlled by stryker. I am guessing he loses the extra powers, and will be more true to the comic book character that everyone likes in either another movie, or a DeadPool spin off…so dont get your panties in a twist, he has a mouth, and will most likely being something more true in a future film.

I saw the film. Right, Deadpool is deadpool at the start but then stryker takes him and puts other mutants powers in him and Addamantium and made weapon XI.
Well other then the gay tatoos, the laser beams coming out of his eyes, his mouth sowed shut, the blades coming out of his arms, and being able get his head chopped off and then still come back to life isnt to far off from Deadpool. All except those things of course.

Deadpool in the movie is made up of Ryan Reynolds, but Stryker has went and infused him with a lot of other mutants (or their powers atleast) and in the early of the movie he says that Ryan talks too much or else he would be a perfect soldier, thus when he is made into deadpool; stryker has his mouth removed/closed perm.

Stryker went around kidnapping mutants ’stealing their powers’ so to speak, and he was putting them into the dead body of deadpool (stryker set victor[aka sbaretooth] to kill deadpool so that weapon XI could be started)
so deadpools katanas got put into his fists like wolverines claws did. he has the laser ability from scott. the healing from wolverine. the teleporting thing fromt he john guy (playing by Will.I.Am[he actually did a good job]) and i think that it.
I honestly thought it was a great movie, totally terrific. it had its flaws but all movies do.

Ryan Reynolds character, Wade Wilson, before the transformation is the one we call deadpool. just without the fancy shmancy ninja suit or the crazy disfigurement. after they fix him up hes called weapon XI. thats what im thinking. or all will be explained in the proposed deadpool movie theyre supposedly making.
