HUNTER PREY Trailer has Been Unveiled

A couple days ago we brought you some new production photos and a poster for the indie Sci-fi film ‘Hunter Prey’ directed by Sandy Collora. We also told you a teaser trailer would hit this week, and it has! You can tell the film is low budget, but it has got great production value and design behind it. The movie looks like it is going to be a pretty entertaining sci-fi film, and I’m looking forward to seeing it. The official synopsis of the movie is below.
THE MISSION…
Hunter Prey centers around a group of elite intergalactic commandos that have crash-landed on a harsh and unknown planet while transporting an alien prisoner. Now they must track down and recapture the escaped creature, and their orders are to bring it in ALIVE.
The soldiers begin to question their orders while finding themselves at a severe disadvantage, not being able to harm the prisoner. The team starts getting picked off, one by one, by their dangerous adversary, until the odds become even.
With one soldier remaining, he’s faced with a decision. Does he risk his life playing the creature’s game or does he disobey his orders and kill it. The realization he comes to, after finding out why his superiors want the prisoner alive and why the alien is trying to escape, starts to change the way he thinks not only about his situation, but himself, as he finds out who’s really hunting whom?

Looks like a Boba Fett fanfic writer’s orgiastic version of ‘all the bits in Pitch Black except the monsters’ to me.
That said, I always have been a glass half empty kinda guy. Maybe i’ll give it a go. This year seems to have more interesting low-budget/indie movies than previous ones.
Based on your synopsis, it seems clear the twist is that the company wants the creature to kill the mercs without any liability/responsibility.
Keeping in mind it’s an Indie . . . I like the looks of it I’ll definately keep tabs on this one.
Interesting flick. I’ll have to keep my eyes on this one. The commandos look like a cross between the Cyclons on the original (70s) BSG and the clone troopers from Ep. 2.
Good job to the filmmakers for getting this thing made.
