New STAR TREK TV Spot – Not Your Fathers Star Trek

Not sure why they decided to use the tag line of “Not your fathers Star Trek” in this new trailer for TV, because to be honest there is really nothing wrong with the old school Star Trek series. I think we all understand that this movie is a reboot of that original series, and that we know it is going to look much, much better and have a young and hip feel to it, we get that from everything we have seen. Maybe they are trying to appeal to a teenage crowd. But whatever, I am still looking forward to the movie! This new TV spot has a few new little clips in it so check it out below!

    I suppose I qualify as a member of the “teenage crowd” Yeah,the movie looks awesome,and yes I plan on seeing it multiple times.But this trailer was just action,action,action,and none of the heart that made me fall in love with Star Trek.

    Agreed. BAM!KISS!PUNCH!SEX!FIGHT!KIRK!SCREAM!FIGHT!SEX!….STAR TREK!

    This trailer does the movie a disservice by making it appear -incorrectly – to be the way everyone didn’t want the movie to turn out.
