2 New Pics of Michael Myers in HALLOWEEN 2 With and Without his Mask
Hurm. Yeah, um… Looks like a homeless guy roaming the streets of Hollywood. The image below is of Tyler Mane as the unmasked Michael Myers. The movie is shot, in the can and currently in post-production. I’ll still watch it to see what Rob Zombies master plan is for the character, but I wish I could be more excited about it. What do you all think?
Rob Zombie goes on to explain on his myspace page about how much time Michael will spend in the mask. The last we heard it was 30% with 70% without, here is his response to the rumors.
“Another question that seem to have been asked quite a bit is about the mask. Their have been reports and rumors that he only wears the mask 25% of the time or not at all.
Well, the truth is the movie is just now being edited so the exact percentage of mask wearing is unclear at this point. But fear not, Michael is seen wearing the mask as much if not more than you’ve ever seen him wearing a mask in any Halloween film. As seen below. Enjoy.”
Well that’s good to hear. It’s always best to get the information from the guy that actually knows what is going on. Here is another look at the homeless Myers wearing the mask.

I have little interest in this movie BUT! did you know? On the set of the original 1978 Halloween;
Due to its shoestring budget, the prop department had to use the cheapest mask that they could find in the costume store: a Captain Kirk (William Shatner) mask. They later spray-painted the face white, teased out the hair, and reshaped the eye holes.
it felt relevant at the time.
ROB ZOMBIE IS NOT A GOOD FILMMAKER!
The first Halloween movie Zombie did didn’t seem necessary and this maskless Meyers… what the hell is this. I’m all for originality and being creative, but perhaps flex that creative muscle with an ORIGINAL film, and not do it on some established character.
Hmmm… showing Michael without the mask is a mistake. This makes ‘the shape’ 100% less scary IMO.
It fits if RZ is not taking the supernatural route, but I never felt that Halloween should be grounded in reality in the first place.
Firstly I’d like to ask the bloggers above to do experience the magic of hooked on phonics (hey worked for me), and secondly, the House of a 1,000 corpses was good, and the Devil’s Rejects was great. I like the freshness.
Sure the first picture looks like a homeless guy, but do you know who else it looks like? Rob Zombie. And the 2nd pic is sorta creepy sure, like I wouldn’t let the guy in to use my phone or anything, but do you know what else was creepy? The ORIGINAL Halloween movie and the Michael from that one. What is up with remakes? I hate to think that my child is going to grow up seeing all the same stuff I did growing up, just redone and not as good because no one has any original ideas anymore. DUDE
I saw it Saturday. It was good. My only gripe is that I wish Zombie would've at least include the creepy piano track throughout the movie and not torwards the credits. If you listened to the sappy film critics then you missed a good savage, brutal and gory flick.
