X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE Mutant Characters Sneak Peek
This is a nice little preview that was put together showing off the mutants that will be featured in ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’. Out of everyone in the film I am most excited to see Gambit brought to life. It should be Deadpool, but you all know that whole story. Here is a nice little run down of each character and then there is the sneak preview. Enjoy!
Wolverine (Jackman): “Wolverine is very much the lead in this movie,” Hood says. “It’s his story.” Wolverine’s history with the Weapon X program was seen in brief flashbacks in the prior X-Men movies, but you’ll get to see the whole transformation from man to near-beast in his solo film debut.
Col. William Stryker (Danny Huston): According to Hood, the military man puts together the black-ops Team X, a group of mutants that Wolverine joins for a short period of time. Brian Cox played an older version of the character in the movie X2.
Emma Frost (Tahyna Tozzi): Those who follow X-Men comics know this popular character as an adult. In the film, she’s a teenage telepath who can turn her skin into diamond.
Gambit (Kitsch): “A card shark with the power to charge any object he touches with explosive energy, he features later in the film as a character Wolverine tracks down to help him in his search for someone who may — or may not — be the murderer of his lover.”
John Wraith (Will.i.am): A close friend to Wolverine, he’s a teleporter much like Nightcrawler, a character also featured in X2.
The Blob (Kevin Durand): The man also known as Fred Dukes is a 700-pound wrecking crew who’s pretty much immovable when his feet are touching the ground.
Deadpool (Reynolds): A sword-wielding motormouth, mercenary Wade Wilson is another member of Stryker’s team who won’t be the same man by the end of the film.
Agent Zero (Daniel Henney): Another Team X-er, this guy is one heck of a tracker and an even better marksman. He and Wolverine don’t exactly see eye to eye.
Sabretooth (Schreiber): Wolverine’s half-brother Victor Creed is a feral villain whose long history with Wolverine made Hood drool with delight. “That is just great emotional backstory and baggage: You’ve got two guys who are actually related, who hate each other and who are struggling with each other? I’m in!” Hide Trailer Details

I’m OUT!!!
Party foul, I’m calling boooooooooo. Okay I know he ends up as Agent zero but that is not his damn name(and of course now that I am bitching I forget his name), his code name I think was Maverick. But the marksman of weapon X was not called Agent zero at first that actually happened a few years ago when Maverick came in after undergoing some damn disese(he was first thought dead during the initial mutant only virus years ago the one that was cured by the death of colossus, yes I know geek moment).
Now understand I have no problem with them using Maverick as a member of the team, he was as was silverfox and victor creed. Deadpool came later(and if this lead up is any indication yes they are gonna fuck him up yeesh why ruin a good character) they never had cyclops or emma frostand um you kinda fuck up the first few movies if wolverine rescues psyclops since alex isn’t there and scott is already wearing his glasses meaning the head injury has already happened that pooched his memory.
I know, I know I am asking way to much for them to if nothing else keep in line with somebody’s true origin story. I mean yeah I know it can all be covered by a professor Xavier memory wipe yadda yadda yadda, ad I also know technically any memory wolverine might have had was supposedly planted and replanted a million times. Emma still should not have her diamond skin ability yet it came at a much later date(oh like 15 years after her creation), Maverick should not be called Agent Zero yet. I kinda like the fact that his becoming agent zero was with full knowledge that it was a selfish act to save his own life that would be a betrayal to his long friendship with wolverine.
Am I going to watch it yes, will I probably love it yeah but just like with the spiderman series there will always be a few things stuck in my craw because while I support the movies I respect the comic book characters who drew the audience(me included) that these movies are based on. I don’t mind you slightly upgrading shit but just changing things to be changing them in my estimation is unnecessary. It will probably be a kick ass movie, will probably have a sequel or two just about wolverine and hopefully ryan reynolds will be given some way to repeat as deadpool(after they fuck his character up), maybe what we think is deadpool at the end is a clone of deadpool. I mean if I’m not mistaken he does supposedly posses a hybridization of creeds and howletts healing factors. So we shall see(but if they fuck up dead pool I am going to be soooo pissed, I’m talking venoms treatment in spidey pissed)
Stop your bitching, you cant please every one.
@PRIMALDATA- Don’t worry so much, they could have Wolverine turn into a giant were-wolverine and it wouldn’t change the actual comics. They’ll always be there for you to enjoy.
yeah, deadpool is probably going to be messed up. but honestly, I just want to watch the movie for what it is, not what it could be. No matter what they do, the movie is not going to be perfect. I think its cool that they just threw that prospect out the window and focused on making a movie. I for one am extremely axcited about seeingmy favourite x-men (wolverine, gambit, and deadpool) on the silver screen, even if they aren’t exact replicas from the comics. I mean come on, we have the actual comics for that.
Thats not deadpool its some supersoildr that logan fights at the end, Hasbro just put the toy in the wrong box
