DISTRICT 9 Movie Teaser Trailer
Hey gang! Check it out! The first teaser trailer for ‘District 9′ has hit the web, and it looks like it will be awesome! This teaser trailer still doesn’t really say what the main plot of the movie is but it still gives us a very good idea of what type of setting and world we are going to get to see. If the movie is anything like Niel Blomkamp’s short film ‘Alive in Joburg’ then this movie is going to be incredible.
The film is set in a fictional world where extraterrestrials have become refugees in South Africa. Wikus (Sharlto Copley) is a Multi-National United agent who becomes infected by alien biotechnology. He must go on the run from the oppressive government into District 9, a internment camp where “non-humans” have been forced to live since landing on Earth nearly 30 years ago.
This trailer will be attached to ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’. You can also watch the trailer in HD over at Apple.
Enjoy the trailer and let us know what you think!

HELL YEAH!!! Looks beyond incredible. Cant wait for this film!
I love the documentary style. I was amazed by ‘Alive in Joburg’ and this looks like it is going to be better.
It looks like Neil Blomkamp knows how to tell a good story.
This was the final trailer when I saw Wolverine and some people started to comment it was a buzz-kill to show a documentary about refugees leading into a popcorn movie. When the twist came on the trailer half the theater gasped.
Best trailer since 9!

This looks pretty fantastic. Alive in Joburg was great, although I feel like I prefer the bulkier aliens from the short than these new, lean ones. No matter, Blomkamp is brilliant, I’ll see this opening day.
I Like this. remaniscent of both Alien Nation and ID4 told by Micheal Moore. (that is a compliment and not an insult)
It looks good, the alien shit kinda reminds me of the ID4 one, but it depends on what it's up against when it comes out, same as the new most def movie(which I heard nothing about at first). If I have nothing to do maybe I go see it, otherwise it may be one of those wait til video moments
