OK here it is… are you ready? I’m just going to tell you strait out…
Fran [Walsh], who is PJ’s wife and writes with him, they’ve come up with this idea called The Christ Must Die in which Nazi zombies go back in time to stop Jesus from being born.
Whaaaaaaa? Ok now lets break that down…

Wow. I am speechless, that is so… I can’t even think of a word! What!? All I know is I have to see this movie.
This little mountain of information originated from a popular British radio show called Simon Mayo’s afternoon slot on BBC Five Live. Apparently the guy is a movie buff that has movie reviews and guests. Today’s guest was Stephen Fry. Fry is the screenwirter that wrote Peter Jackson Dambusters movie. according to the radio show and /film
there’s a currently standing, fully constructed set of Jerusalem in New Zealand
. It was built by “some strange billionaire” for a now aborted religious movie
with a supposed Mel Gibson influence. Now the set lies dormant, several New Zealand film makers have been coming up with potential uses.
This new idea for a movie may end up being one of the potential uses for the set.
Peter Jackson has been wanting to go back to his crazy blood splattering B horror movie roots, and it sounds like this is right up his ally. So is this a movie that you really want to see? Or is this the type of movie that is offensive to you?

Right up my alley! But you know it won’t come out like B-Movie trash with Peter Jackson at the helm. It sounds like great fun! And who knows, there may even be some obscure message in there somewhere.
This idea is so perfectly brilliant it makes me want to cry. Oh my God, if it is as good as just the concept is, I’d buy a second ticket after it was over just so they could get my support twice. Fuck!

This part could be a hoax… a few years ago PJ made a hoax documentary called Forgotten Silver, which included an abandoned movie set ‘ancient city’ built in the forests of NZ.
That is freaking awesome. This is the culmination of all our hopes and dreams in one movie. They have to make this movie. I must go see it.
