Hey gang! Hope your having a great weekend so far! Today I am happy to share with you a new poster for Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Inglourious Basterds’ featuring Brad Pitt as Lt. Aldo Raine. It this poster you can clearly see a scar on his neck from a lynching incident from his past.

This movie will premier at The Cannes Film Festival later this month. I can’t wait to see what people think about it. I’m lookin forward to this movie, hope you enjoy the poster!

5 Rant-Backs so far

    Yes…yes he is.

  2. Matthew on May 3rd, 09

I hope we get an elaborate back story on how he got the hideous scar on his neck.

dude, it’s a rope scar – he got it from a lynching attempt from his ‘younger’ days…that’s it…whoop-de-doo…

this film is perhaps gonna be the most offensive portrayal of WW2 that has ever been made…not that I’m gonna cry about that, but based on the what i’ve read, the online video stuff, Eli Roth’s lip-service & Tarantino’s track record post Jackie Brown…my hopes are ridiculously low… I’m also confused as to how the cinematography looks so…erm…crap…it’s not like the DOP hasn’t got mad skills…the whole thing kinda reeks at this point. (apart from the music in the trailer – awesome!)

I am very intrigued from a ‘car crash’ kinda mentality…but, honestly – when that fucking trailer says ‘you’ve not seen war until you’ve seen it through the eyes of quentin tarantino’ you know this film is aimed right at the teen market.

Watch Pekinpah’s ‘Cross of Iron’ – THAT’S a fuckin’ war film! not a bunch of good looking kids poncing about and Mike Myers doing an Austin Powers-lite accent with old man make-up on…

…and what the fuck is that hitler shit at the end?? NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN – christ, didn’t Charlie Chaplin do that joke back in 1940?????????????…

oh well, time will tell. In the meantime I’m just gonna carry on looking forward to Sly Stallone’s EXPENDABLES
