Hugh Jackman goes to GHOSTOPOLIS

It’s no surprise that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine movie made a butt load of money this weekend with about $87 million dollars. I imagine that the number of people going out to watch the movie will significantly drop because of all the bad reviews it is getting.
It looks like Hugh Jackman has his next project set up though, from one comic book to another. Jackman will star in a new film adapted from a graphic novel called ‘Ghostopolis’ which has been set up at Disney by the author Doug TenNapel. The graphic novel has yet to be released, but the story centers on a man who works for the government’s Supernatural Immigration Task Force. His job is to send ghosts who have escaped into our world back to Ghostopolis. When a living boy accidentally is sent to the other side, the agent must team with a female ghost (and former flame) to bring him back.
That sounds like a pretty cool idea. I wonder if Ghostopolis is anything like Toon Town. For some reason that was the first visual that popped in my head when I read what it was about except in black and white. I imagine it will be a film noir type movie.
No writer or director has been attached to the project yet. This story is something that I would really be interested in seeing. I hope it is more on the darker creepy side than comedy, with Disney involved it may have a little cheeseballness to it. The supernatural is always a fun subject to take on. What do you all think?
