I have not yet seen Rian Johnson’s ‘The Brothers Bloom’, but I hear it is absolutely wonderful. Here is a clip from the movie that was released recently and it just shows you how great this movie looks. Just in this one scene, Rian Johnson proves his incredible talent for writing and directing. ‘Brick’ was not a fluke, this guy is the real deal, and he has the potential to be one of the great modern day Hollywood filmmakers.
The film clip focuses on Rachel Weisz as she explains to Adrien Brody her childhood condition, which turned out being an error, in the form of a card trick.The scene is shot in one take with no cuts and it is just a beautiful scene that is cinematically entertaining.

not bothered about this one in the fucking slightest – BRICK was an overrated cacophony of mashed together ideas…beautifully shot and fabulously acted by whatshisname from 3rd Rock from the Sun, but in no way worthy of all the praised heaped upon it & based on that this film is going the same way.
