Michael Bay wants to Direct a Western

I don’t know if the world is ready for a Western directed by Michael Bay, but from the sound of it, one day this could become a reality! He would one day like to make a Western but has nothing planned at the moment. Bay recently gave an interview in which he states:
“I love cowboys, I love Westerns. I love, love, love Westerns; love them. I’ve just always been a huge fan of Western movies. I actually wrote a senior thesis on Western movies.”
He seems pretty excited about the cowboy western thing, and I am sure one day we will see Michael Bay direct a western. In the mean time all we can do is imagine what this movie will look like.
Imagine the way he directs his car chase scenes but now replace the cars with Horses and the city backdrop with the relaxed rough lands, tumble weeds, old town, mountain with a golden sunset, at hyper speed! With fast crazy camera movements, and lightning fast edits. It will be the most insane over the top Horse chase shootout scene in the history of cinema.
You know what? Just imagine ‘Bad Boys’ set in the mid 1800’s, except way more over the top and insane. That will give you a good idea of what to expect. I actually wouldn’t mind seeing what he would do as a western film, in fact, I’m looking forward to it! Anyone else care to tell us what you think the movie will be like?

No offense to Mr. Bay, but he couldn’t carry Sam Peckinpah’s jock strap.

True, Bay won’t rival the kind of work Peckinpah did or even some of the new postmodern Westerns like Deadwood, but I still guarantee he’s gonna deliver a sucker punch of a Western.
It will be loud, explosive & have a killer or a female lead in it no doubt.
I hope to see exploding horses.
I hope to see horses turn into giant battling robot cowboys. I would expect no less from Michael Bay.
