Holy Crap! You can watch over ten minutes of incredible footage from McG’s ‘Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins’! Apparently this is a combination of 10 film clips that have been released. All I have to say is I love the footage in this little video. This movie looks like it is going to blow our socks off. I can’t wait!
Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

wtf, that's a lot of footage. Story & acting look good, but the cinematography is a little 2nd rate. Won't have the panache of T2. The T600 (chain gun wielding Terminator after Marcus & Kyle) looks good, clunky & aggressive, seems to make kinda monster noises, growls. Connor talks about having seen Marcus's heart. I assume he's a person turned into an advanced terminator, kinda like Ghost In The Shell where they have a real brain in the machine, and like Robocop where Murphy still has organic systems to support his still organic brain. I'm suprised they are leaking so much about this element of the story, I could have waited to find this out! I also assume that Marcus is from the 'further' future again, as his technology is beyond Skynet's abilities in 2018. The picture of his endoskeleton ive seen looks more advanced than the T800. I wonder if he's more powerful than a T800?
Wow! That was a pretty good movie!
