Here is our first look at Chow Yun-Fat as the great philosopher Confucius. I biopic is currently in production on the life of the man. I am happy to see Chow Yun-Fat in a decent roll for a movie. He really needs it after Dragonball Evolution. From the photos we found, the movie looks like it was shot very well.
Confucius was a Chinese thinker and social philosopher, whose teachings and philosophy have deeply influenced Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese thought and life. His philosophy emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity. These values gained prominence in China over other doctrines, such as Legalism or Taoism during the Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD). Confucius’ thoughts have been developed into a system of philosophy known as Confucianism.
I’m sure the movie will be pretty interesting. What do you think?

Looks like everything else he's ever done, but without action
The stills look great, but I wonder how exciting / interesting his life was compared to his teachings (i.e. fortune cookie content)?
This will either end up as a really bad movie or it could end up being my all time favorite… Lot's of philosophy in Buddhism and Ninjitsu!!! Not so much in the Marine Corps though… Hopefully we get a trailer up here soon!!!
