I'm apprehensive. The original is still one of my favorite all time movies. I have so many fond memories of watching it with my Dad and this movie being an action packed story with an awesome story, great characters, and the perfect ending. The only way they can make this as awesome as the original is keeping the plot exact, and just upgrading the special effects.

I agree with Jay about the stop-motion Medusa. Great stuff, the original was classic. I'm pretty excited for this although given the up-and-down history of classic remakes I'll remain skeptical until I actually see the movie and judge for myself.

I think Worthington is going to become a massive star soon. Terminator, Avatar, Clash — next year he's going to be a household name (possibly).

I remember seeing the original…in the theater. My fav scene was the stop-motion Medusa; back then she was scary and bad-ass. Hope they have a bad-ass Medusa scene.
