Rose Returns… Again!?

piper

For months I have been saying that regardless of the human clone. Despite the dimensional separation, Rose Tyler should come back to see David Tennant’s Doctor off. I knew deep down that it was probably a bad idea. That it was just Russell T. Davies is doing. Going back to the well.

Less that a series removed from Rose’s big departure in “Journey’s End”, she will be returning in David Tennant’s final episode as The Doctor. There is no word as to how Rose will be coming back from the “dimensional prison” that she currently resides in with The Doctor’s human clone.

Be wary, the image above, may or may not be from Tennant’s final performance as The Doctor.

As great as it will be to see Rose give a proper send off to Tennant, I think that this is finally the story arc where people will see that it’s time for RTD to leave, and Stephen Moffatt to take over. Having Rose return AGAIN, is just taking away from any emotional attachment people felt during “The Stolen Earth” and “Journey’s End”

The final Who specials featuring Tennant’s regeneration into Matt Smith are set to air on BBC1 this Christmas and New Year’s.

    WTF are you talking about

Easy Solution: Accept that Journey’s End sucks and doesn’t exist. Forget the parade of companions, fake regeneration, doctor clone, retroactively closing rift, mind wiping, and doctor gifting. If you can do that, Davies’ indulgent finale episode will make sense.

Having done that myself: Rose is awesome, she never should have left, and I’m happy to have her back even though it is impossible. If she dies, I will hurt somebody.

It's one tiny scene, the Doctor goes back to Jan 2005 to take a last look at Rose (Rose from before she ever met the Doctor).

I loved the chemistry between Billie and David. I hope It is a good episode. Journey's End was way to rushed. Way too many characters rushed into 1 hour. They really need to do this as good send-off to another era of Doctor Who.

    that would work well

I hear that all of the companions will be in the final episodes. I'm wondering how they are going to bring Donna back. Otherwise, excited to see Davies go because despite the inconsistencies, he's done good Who, but excited to see Moffat take over because he's done AWESOME Who.

I wouldn't put all of the companions in the final episodes because that would be overcrowding (much like journey's end), but I am glad that we will see Rose one more time before Matt Smith takes over.

That image is from New New Earth. Rose's body has been posessed by Cassandra, the last human. Anyway, let Rose go! Its time to move on and enjoy a new Doctor, new companions and adventures.
