Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff researching DAREDEVIL Character Typhoid Mary

It has been talked about that FOX may end up rebooting the Daredevil franchise. FOX chairman Tom Rothman has even talked about it and Jason Statham has even expressed interest in playing ‘Daredevil’. Who know how far this will go but something interesting happened at a comic book shop in l.A. called Golden Apple. Apparently Katee Sackhoff came into their shop to pick up some research material for Typhoid Mary. Here is what they posted up on their blog:
So we got a little visit in our comic shop last week by Katee Sackhoff, also known as Starbuck for her role on BSG. She proceeded to grab all the Typhoid Mary comics we had and has hopes to get a part for a marvel movie….
Typhoid Mary is a key character in the Deadpool series. She is an enemy and former lover of Daredevil with psionic powers, including telekinesis. She is also truly gravely mentally ill, and not entirely responsible for her actions as a result.
Suffering from dissociative identity disorder, Mary Walker has 3 other abnormal personalities in addition to her seemingly healthy one. Her “Mary” personality is a timid, quiet, pacifist; her “Typhoid” personality is adventurous, lustful, and violent; and her “Bloody Mary” persona is brutal, sadistic, and hates all men. Aside from highly developed martial arts skills, Walker also possesses telekinetic powers and, more dangerously, pyrokinesis, the ability to set people or objects in her immediate vicinity aflame.
I also want to point out that she also had a disturbing relationship with Deadpool.
She is obviously interested in playing the role. And I think she is a perfect fit for it! I would love to see her as Typhoid Mary. I really wasn’t excited for a new Daredevil movie until now. I hated the first Daredevil film and I really don’t trust FOX with these Marvel Properties, but if this actually happens I hope Katee Sackhoff gets the part. Ok your up at bat, what do you think?

The presence of FOX makes me immediately skeptical. It'll be like Ryan Reynolds in Wolverine: Katee will get maybe a half-dozen snappy lines and will be replaced with a body double/CG 'Typhoid Mary' who's a bust size larger, wears a dental floss thong, and has knives coming out of her fingers or some shit.

She's probably researching for the Deadpool movie (which they are going to make) not another Daredevil movie.

I would really like to see Daredevil rebooted as a movie franchise. He is an amazing character and it could be very well done. I think Typhoid Mary might be a good villain for the piece as well. This is good news!
