In this new extended film clip from ‘G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra’ we get a chance to see just how pointless and useless these Accelerator suit are. What’s the point if they can’t catch up to the bad guys? I thought they were suppose to make them faster, but it seems like they just can’t keep up with two regular people on foot. Instead they are climbing up and swinging around like silly robot monkeys! What the hell!? Ok, I’m done ranting, we know there is a huge chance it is going to suck. Here is the film clip.

Maybe I just have low standards…but I honestly think it looks good. I've seen the original cartoon and a lot of the "redo's" many cartoon stations have tried pulling and this is honestly looking better then them. I can see, though, why most of you hate it though and I think we should write a petition to Hollywood telling them to stop making movies to 'introduce' your beloved series to a new generation and instead make something that only the fan would enjoy, something they love. Until then, however, we will have to live with the fact that the only way we can enjoy these movies is to stop being stubborn and attached to our childhoods and allow something new to make a scene, you don't have to replace your childhood with this movie. Wow, big rant, sorry if some of this doesn't make sense, I'm bored. >_>
Also, thought just popped up, you said the suits were useless because all they were doing was flipping around? Imagine if they didn't have the suits? By the time they would climb 5 floors Cobra would of already been at there base sipping champagne for a job well done. :T
Why couldn't Cobra just shoot the Eiffel Tower from the outside or from a helicopter? Oh, I just know this is going to blow big time! Meh…I'd rather do a repeat showing of G I JOE: Resolute! 'Nuff Said!

Seriously, it looks awesome and fun to watch. I remember the old cartoon's but seriously the spoof voice overs you can watch on youtube.com have made a bit of a unknown mess of it for the newer generation. I think this movie will put a bit of adventure into an old franchise that's lost it's original class!
THAT LOOKS FUCKING INSANE! … for those that dont like the look of it?? there's an entire library of films out there about communist farmers fixing tractors and staring at grass – go see that instead you ridiculous bastards….thinking your too 'intellectual' to appreciate the fact that FILM IS ALLOWED TO BE ENTERTAINING.

…and as for RESOLUTE….yes it was great, but bring on the live action film
Squirrelli, right on. it will let this Gen. see what the gi joe is like. i addmit the exo suites are a bit much but it looks great, i mean come on its sci fi army combat. at least they use real bullets and not lasers.
I can never tell if they release these clips in an attempt to entice movie goers to see the full length feature in the theater, or as a cautious warning to avid movie fans, like us, to stay the hell away from this steaming pile of regurgitated 1980s pop culture.
