A WOLVERINE Sequel has been Put into Development
The news that Hugh Jackman and Seed Productions are currently in development on a sequel to ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ does not surprise me at all. Hugh did say last week that he had some writers working on it. It is also official that the storyline they are focusing on is “Wolverine, Japan, samurai” which originated in the comic book series. One of the endings of the Wolverine movie teases this sequel.
This is a storyline I would really be interested in seeing, if I wasn’t so disappointed with the last couple X-Men movies to be made. I am already not expecting much from it. This is a story that has so much potential! Something that would be just an awesome and amazing film, but the way these X-Men movies are going it will just be done half-assed like the last Wolverine movie, and that my friends is a bloody shame.
Maybe if FOX grew some balls we would get the Wolverine movie we have always wanted. In the mean time go play the ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ video game because that’s freakin awesome! I don’t think that’s gonna happen though. What do you think?

He needs to get some writers who are going to bring some gravitas to the material. More attention has to be given to the character of Wolverine, pit him against more human foes and explore him not just as a mutant, but as a man and the frailties that come with that.
I would go see it no matter what. I’m addicted to him and Deadpool. Hoping they do more with Gambit too.
I think the X-men series is the one I’d keep going to no matter what, unless they totally destroyed it.
Huzzah. Not surprising about the Japan storyline after seeing the post credits clip, to be honest.
Hopefully it’ll have different writers to ‘Origins’, because even though I liked the film, there was a lot not so good stuff in there.
I agree with bunny–good idea, but needs some new writers.
Just like Ryan Reynolds said: you can’t beat the source material – so why the hell was Fox fighting the actual story of Wolverine the whole frakin time?!
And ya I was ok with a movie-verse universe for Wolverine, but if youre going to make up your own stories or mess with what we comic geeks know and love – at least be consistant. X2 to Origins (because X3 is like Batman Forever it just doesn’t exist) doesn’t even have the same Wolverine film to film
ugh. This rant will never get old. sorry. It was lame. But unfortunately I love the comic so I went and saw it
NEW WRITERS PLEASE!!
To Fox: Please, just give up licenses and rights to Marvel Studios.
I agree with {Missy S} I think I would go c any of the
movies no matter what. But on the other hand like {Mary Jane}said I 2 am a comic book “Geek”:)and..would LOVE 2 c one of the X-Men movies 2 keep a storyline that came from the comics.
I LOVE the X-Men,and I would hate myself if I did not go and c the movies. No matter what the storyline is. Plus the guys r always really hottt.lol But I do hope they get new writers
and mayb an all new team. It b cool 2 c a team from the marvel company- they would do the next 1 up rigth!!
David Benioff can suck it. He ruined Wolverine. And besides, wouldn’t Wolverine in Japan take place prior to the events in Canada? I mean, seriously? Not exactly sure, but didn’t he live there in the 1800s? Well, technically he would have had to since the Samurai were extinguished in 1853 when Matthew Perry (not the Friends star) sailed into Japan.
what ever happened to a magneto origin movie?
