Great Trailer for Movie Geek Drama called ‘77′

Now this is a movie that speaks to me and I would think it speaks to the rest of our audience as well, for the fact that I see a little bit of myself in the the main character of this movie. The movie is a Star Wars geek Drama called ‘77′. It was originally supposed to be called 5-25-77 because that is the day that Star Wars was unleashed to the world. This movie is nothing like ‘Fanboys’, this is more of a coming of age drama. Its about the life of a small town kid who is an aspiring filmmaker and it is based on the true story of Patrick Reed Johnson. He has directed movies such as ‘Spaced Invaders’, ‘Baby’s Day Out’, ‘Angus’,  and helped in the development of the story for ‘Dragonheart’.

The official Plot summary is as follows:

Alienated, hopeful-filmmaker Pat Johnson’s (played by John Francis Daley) epic story about growing up in rural Illinois, falling in love, and becoming the first fan of the movie that changed everything.

Hope you like the trailer!

I have no idea when this movie will be coming out. It has been finished since 2007 and needs to get released already!

Thanks to firstshowing for reminding me that this movie exists!

Wow, yeah, this should definitely be made available to the public. Who do we need to petition? :D

Wow, that made me laugh from start to finish!! I love the line "They're not little, i just got a big backyard." perfect!

I also love the scene from 1:21 onwards! I think it perfectly describes what that movie is about ;)

Now i really wanna see this!! Plus!! DR SWEETS!

Yeah, it's funny how Start Wars can be summed up, and or described with just a couple of sound fx. Breath in and out slowly, and everyone knows you mean Darth Vader!

Seriously. Let's hope this movie doesn't get the same treatment "Fanboys" did… this has so much potential. It just needs the right people behind it.
