As you know by now, ‘500 Days of Summer’ was my favorite movie up at the Sundance Film Festival. In fact, it’s one of the best movies I have seen this year. Fox Searchlight has been releasing these quirky little featurettes for the film. The most recent videos are of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel having short coffee shop conversations, about the things that helped inspire the movie and their performances.

In this first video, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel talk about their impressions of their home city, which is also the setting for the film. I myself was raised in Los Angeles, and everything they talk about is kinda true.

In this second video, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel chat about their passion for music and how important it is to the film. The music in this movie is absolutely fantastic!
