Must Watch Now: THE WARRIORS WAY Movie Trailer

I love coming across little unknown films that look completely amazing. The movie is called ‘The Warrior’s Way’ and it’s a completely fantastic looking martial arts western flick. How is a movie like this not getting more attention?! I didn’t even know about it until today! The movie stars Kate Bosworth, Danny Huston, Geoffrey Rush, and Dong-Kun Jang as Yang. I don’t think I have ever seen anything quite like this before. There are scenes from the trailer that are jaw-dropping.
The story is about an Asian warrior played by Jang, who is forced to hide in a small town in the American badlands. He meets the town drunk played by Rush, and a circus knife thrower played by Bosworth, both of whom have powerful secrets.
The movie is being produced by Barrie M. Osborne who produced The Lord of the Rings and they had a budget of around $47 million. The film was shot in New Zealand back in 2007, and is currently in post-production with Weta Digital working on some visual effects. Not sure when it will get released, Wikipedia says sometime this year. But damn, I can’t wait!
Check out the trailer below so you can see for yourself how awesome it looks.

This has potential, but there might be a bit to much Zack Snyder "300" riffing going on…but I am optimistic that it could be a pretty good ride.
Whoa, why haven't I heard about this? Looks badass.
if this tailer rimended me of anything its equilibrium
Holy Shit! I'm totally stoked! This movie looks like its a classic in the making…maybe. It just looks like it has substance. I'm can't wait!!
reminded me of kenshin
What a joke. Effects look second rate, basically a 'Chop Suey' Hong Kong martial arts flick with a few dollars more than normal to produce. No one wants to make realistic movies, they keep feeding you people with this junk. Maybe one day the movie audience will ask…demand a realistic martial arts/sword movie. Until then we are forced to eat this styrofoam boxed crud. What crap. Im sad for Geoffrey Rush for being in this dog of a movie.
@ Fred Sandford

This film is just asking me to accept too much. Even for fiction, I can only suspend so much disbelief.
