Just add another 25 minutes to GIJoe Resolute and release it as the feature in place of Sommers' trainwreck.

How could anyone imagine a different result from the director that brought us Van Helsing?

I think someone should have called Larry Hama, he knows a thing or two about how to make G.I. Joe work storywise, as well as dealing with the wishes of a toy company, and making it all work.

I have such a hard time rationalizing the enormous waste of money that happens with Hollywood. How they spend millions and millions of dollars on a film and then dump it (Outlander, Idiocracy) or spending millions and millions on a film knowing it is bad the whole way through and not switching gears. Is the beast really that big to turn? Didn't they watch dailies? Editing can do miracles, but if it's this bad, I don't know. I was a GIJoe fan in my youth but I thought the film looked silly from the trailers. I'll wait to see what everyone thinks, then check it out on NetFlix.

Even if this movie is lame, I hope they decide to do a sequel to try and bring the franchise back around. I agree this movie should've been amazing, but it seems to have turned out to be corny with lame attempts at humor.

Typical large Hollywood studio buying the rights to an established franchise and sprinting to get the movie out, add this to the Fox/Marvel movies and the 80s Horror Revivals on the steaming pile of crap!
