I believed in Steven despite of the 'failure' of the 4th Indiana. Worst of the 4 series. George, please hand off this time as we don't need alien to life up Indiana's movie. Go back to Star Wars if you wish with Steven playing another big part in it as the 1st. Steven has the midas touch in almost all your successfull movies if not all. Looking forward to the 5th, 6th, 7th…..Indiana/STAR Wars. Ford may not live forever but together with Steven and George, all of you will be praised, admired and remembered forever. You people made my life worth looking forward to since the seventies.

I'm up for another go. Shia can just be off someplace else in the world though.
I would like to see Indy find the lost City of Atlantis, discover their mythical energy source but in the discovery it starts and all the pent up power destroys all evidence of the City and he just barely escapes. Maybe link Atlantis to the Old World that God destroyed in the Bible.

Yeah, well I guess my two cents can't hurt…. much. I was actually cringing at the beginning of the "crystal Skull" at how aged Indy looked. As the film progressed however, I saw much of the same imagination that took place in the rest of the series, as well as a more "Indy-like, Indy, at least to me. Was it as good as "Raiders"? Heck, no. Did it present a new story? Yeah, I think so, Of course I am into ancient astronaut lore so I guess that dragged me in. I agree with past posters, let go of reality, let yourself enter world of fun and alternatives.

On the other hand, Shia LaBeouf as the new Indy? ……… LOL……… Nuff said!

Looking forward to it if they have a good story and dump the special effects. Also make the cliffhangers and action doable, not far fetched and unbelieveable. Plus gravity is gravity and physics

Hey, Is everyone done with their pissing contest? Should be. That was like 2 months ago, but you never know, sometimes you think you're done and another little squirt comes out. I think they should go ahead and do another one. . . Lucas and all. Hell, he's just getting senile. That might even make a BETTER FILM! We saw the beginning stages of the Dementia influencing the last film. Who knows what "treasure" they could come up with? But for God's sake, Kill off Shia in this one! Nathan Fillion should be Indiana, he would make a great Han Solo too if they wanted to make an origin picture, which would be great – Quitting the imperial fleet academy, saving Chewbacca's hairy ass from slavers, history with Fett, Jabba, and how he won the Falcon from lando, talk about a picture that writes itself. We have already seen him play the part, pretty much, in Firefly(Interstellar Smuggler/Gun-hand, sound familiar) just keep Lucas away from the script and it will be Awesome. Hell, let Joss Whedon write/direct and we could be talking about the best Star Wars EVER.

While reading your post I realized that you do not understand my tag. By Mann, I am referring to the great director MICHAEL MANN because I enjoy his films (Collateral, Heat, etc.) I am not referring to myself as "the Man" as I am far from it. My recipe for enlightenment (since you asked) is to travel as much as possible. I realize that for many that this is not a reality, and I have been blessed to travel to many places far from the United States. All in all, I I think it has made me a more educated person for I can better understand how people interact with one another. I can see how easy it is to become materialistic and unoriginal (or to phrase it better; – following the masses). I get upset when I see someone throwing around the term "raping my childhood" because not only is it overused, it makes absolutely no sense. I can respect the fact that you are trying to poke holes in my rant, but in doing so, you are proving that you are just like the original poster. Well, I suppose more of a hybrid between the OP and myself. Thank you for your input. I especially liked how you did not have to resort to slang or baseless yelling as so many drones do the same.

Yeah refreshing. One condescending fanboy getting on another for not being "original" enough. Sorry we cant all be as "experienced" in the world as you obviously are mannnnn, as you spread wisdom and light to all of us lowley commentators on messageboards all across the web.
So what is your ultimate recipe for knowledge and enlightenment? Will we all obtain your higher state of being by simply telling ourselves that we are "the man", or should we reaffirm that to ourselves constantly by blindly putting down other people's opinions in a totally impersonal forum?

There we go again with another "raping my childhood" line. You know, that is so fresh. I do not know how you can come up with such original and inventive material. You should write for Conan. Hell, you should open for Dane Cook you are so hilarious. Wait a minute………..are you Dane Cook? Your rant was like taking in fresh air in the mountains of Switzerland. I cannot believe how witty you sound.

First off, the 'raping of your childhood' makes absolutely no sense. Did Spielberg, Ford, and Lucas go back in time and penetrate your ass? If the film was so horrible, then watch the first three and pretend that the franchise ends there. Does the memory of Indy 4 actually pop into your head while watching the trilogy and ruin the experience for you? If that is the case, I think that you need help. I love hearing unoriginal whiny fanboys such as yourself recycle the same old garbage "opinions." Go out and experience the world, educate yourself so that you do not sound like the masses.

I actually liked the fourth film. No, it wasn't a great movie, but I liked it better than the third movie. Didn't care at all about LaBeouf; he should have just died or something. But, admittedly, I am looking forward to part five. I think it has to do a lot with nostalgia, too: I remember seeing Raiders in the theatre and you just don't get the same feeling now with movies as you did back then. While the fourth film didn't quite capture that nostalgia, I still have a soft spot for ol' Indy and wonder what he's been up to.

Mutt was my favorite part of Crystal Skull. Crystal Skull wasn't as good as the older Indie films, but at the very least it was really entertaining in my opinion. Bring on another film.
