It has been quite a long time since I have seen anything for the movie ‘Whiteout’. This is a film based on an award winning graphic novel and stars Kate Beckinsale. I remember a few years ago this movie was being promoted at Comic-Con! I have no idea why it has taken so long to get the movie out in theaters, but it looks like it is finally going to be released. The footage I saw a few years ago looked fine, and now we have a new teaser trailer that doesn’t look to bad either. ‘Whiteout’ looks like it could be really good.
The story is about a U.S. deputy marshal, (Kate Beckinsale), the only one assigned to Antarctica who must investigate a murder on the frozen continent within three days before the arctic winter begins. She crosses paths with a U.N. operative (Gabriel Macht), also investigating the murder.

Yeah, the near-constant narration was a turn-off.
Meh, reminds me way too much of 30 Days of Night.
