Not for Indy. It's just lacking. Please, get Frank Derbart or whoever did the others. I want it to be good. THe original script for Cystal Skull was cool, and you should ahve done it when he wrote it. Before Marion was 50. (P.S. WHy does she look better in real life and in every interview then she does in most the movie?)

Ok, first of all, no one else should play Indy but…. well, Indy. Also, I hope they can fix what they did in K. O. THE CRYSTAL SKULL by making a fourth one that's more real like Riaders….
THey like to say that the fan's have changed, and all that, but the truth is, they did somthing great with the first three, and shouldn't have stopped.

Raiders ahd a kind of semi-real quality to tit that was amazing, because the story sprawled, and you had this kind of late afternoon boyish/world weary quality to it that bridges a gap between being 16 and 40 and up. Temple of Doom was not the same, and Last Crusade brought it back. But in Riaders, you just feel more like it's real, or like somthing could go wrong, or like it's all happening right there and you are involved.

I don't know. It wasn't geared to 12 year olds, for one.

P.S. You really need to re-lease that scene of Harrison and COnnery walking in the train station when they meet Sallah. That'd be awesome after these 20 years.

Yeah, I like Quaid, though I can't see him playing Indiana Jones… even when he was younger.

As for the comments on Fillion. That could be interesting, since he's practically played Solo already. But I'm not sure if I could see him doing it either.

Granted, just because I can't see someone else playing the roll doesn't mean it can't be done well. Just need a good actor and some good writing. I mean, they pulled it off pretty well with Star Trek.

Fillion would be okay. I'm afraid that their plans are to spinoff with Shai, though. Another movie would set him up as the star, "Mutt Williams and the Franchise of Doom!"

media – thats what i had stated previously. keep the character, but with a new actor – nathan fillion or someone with the same style that we've come to know. because everything is remake and reboot – how about rebooting this series?? the last one was ok – shia sucked and the alien story sucked as well. i was 12 when the first indy came out and even i dont want some geriatric dude playn him even if its ford.

As much as I like Harrison Ford (and he will always be Indiana Jones), they could tell more stories with a different actor in the part. Wait! Don't freak out. Think about it….James Bond, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica and now Star Trek. The public will accept it if it's done right. I always thought Dennis Quaid would be a good Indy. But, I suppose, at about 55, he's starting to get a bit old for the part, too. Still, he's got 12 years on Mr. Ford. Just tell a decent story and I'll check it out.
